Biden regime desperate to try, convict, and/or jail Trump before election. Courts need to step up to protect our constitutional republic and Trump’s civil rights.
As the 2024 election looms on the horizon, CNN political commentator Errol Louis issued a cautionary note to President Joe Biden, suggesting that anchoring his campaign solely on “Bidenomics” and the state of the economy might prove detrimental to his re-election prospects. In a recent interview on CNN, Louis expressed the view that despite the conventional wisdom that the economy is a paramount issue for voters, recent polling indicates that this strategy may not be resonating as intended.
“Bidenomics” is devastating the middle class. According to Bloomberg, around $2 trillion in real wealth held by the middle class has been eliminated since March 2022- GOP
In a conversation with CNN’s Poppy Harlow, Louis acknowledged that President Biden initially relied on “Bidenomics” to convey his economic vision, believing it to be a powerful electoral narrative. However, he pointed out that this approach may be faltering due to factors such as inflation, potential misperceptions, or a delayed recognition of positive economic trends. Louis emphasized the crucial role of public perception, stating that even if the economy is improving, it may not translate into voter support if the positive changes are not promptly recognized.

Louis then highlighted the shifting focus in Biden’s strategy, noting that recent polls indicate a strong public response to the defense of democracy. He asserted that this emphasis on democratic values worked for Biden in the 2020 election, serving as his political origin story. Reflecting on Biden’s response to the 2017 Charlottesville march, Louis noted that the President’s commitment to improving the nation’s discourse and unity resonated with voters, ultimately contributing to his electoral success.
I’ve been warning about this awful aspect of Bidenomics for months.

Examining economic indicators, it becomes apparent why the Biden administration faces challenges in persuading the public of economic success. The consumer price index, a key measure of inflation, rose by 0.1 percent in November, reaching a total of 3.1 percent for the year. This inflation has led to elevated prices in crucial areas such as rent, transportation services, and food. The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis reports that overall prices have surged by 17.2 percent since Biden assumed office in January 2021.

Further compounding these economic concerns are statistics on real wages, which have declined by 2.1 percent during the same period. Job growth, while present in sectors such as government, private education and health services, and leisure and hospitality, has been lacking in others, with transportation and warehousing experiencing job losses or stagnation. Public dissatisfaction with the economic situation is reflected in Biden’s approval ratings, which have plummeted to 34 percent according to a recent Monmouth University poll. Respondents cited concerns over the President’s perceived failure to effectively address economic issues and immigration.

As the 2024 campaign gains momentum, President Biden and his team face the challenge of recalibrating their message to resonate with a diverse and economically concerned electorate. Acknowledging the importance of economic indicators and public perception, the administration must articulate a compelling narrative that not only addresses economic challenges but also underscores the defense of democratic values. Balancing these priorities will be key in navigating the intricate landscape of voter sentiments and securing a path to re-election.
Major Points Discussed:
- Warning from CNN commentator: Running solely on “Bidenomics” and the economy may harm President Biden’s re-election chances.
- Shift in focus: Recent polls suggest a stronger response to the defense of democracy as a political strategy for Biden, reminiscent of his successful 2020 campaign narrative.
- Economic challenges: Key indicators reveal public discontent, with a 3.1 percent rise in the consumer price index for the year, elevated prices in rent, transportation, and food, and a 17.2 percent overall increase in prices since Biden took office.
- Real wage decline: Real wages have fallen by 2.1 percent during Biden’s tenure, contributing to concerns about the economic well-being of the American public.
- Job market disparities: While job growth is observed in certain sectors like government and hospitality, other sectors, including transportation and warehousing, show limited improvement or job losses, adding complexity to the economic landscape.
