Their goal is to remove the name of the current president, Joe Biden, from the ballot in their respective states of Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania.

    Expressing her stance on the matter, Representative Byrd stated, “I am joining with PA Rep. Aaron Bernstine and AZ Rep. Cory McGarr to introduce legislation to remove Joe Biden from the ballot in response to the absurd ruling by radical Democrat judges in Colorado, removing Donald Trump from their ballot,” as conveyed in a statement shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

    The legislators articulated their frustration with the ongoing attempts to prevent former President Trump from appearing on ballots in various states. They specifically referenced the recent success of the judicial branch in Colorado, which resulted in the removal of Donald Trump from the state’s ballot, and noted that similar cases are pending in other states.

    In their joint statement, the lawmakers emphasized, “Today, we are joining forces to introduce legislation to remove Joe Biden from the ballot in Georgia, Arizona, and Pennsylvania.” They criticized the removal of Trump from the Colorado ballot, labeling it as an absurd decision that will leave a lasting impact on the American political system.

    According to the legislators, the same reasoning used by Colorado judges to exclude Trump could be applied to Biden due to his alleged involvement in an “insurrection” at the southern border and purported corrupt dealings with China. They contended that the decision in Colorado has changed the political landscape and declared, “we are not going to sit quietly while they destroy our Republic.”

    The legislators clarified that their objective is to highlight the perceived absurdity of Colorado’s decision and advocate for the inclusion of all candidates on the ballot in every state. They framed this effort as a response by Republicans against what they characterized as communists currently leading the nation.

    The legislators’ response to the Colorado ruling was prompted by President Biden’s assertion that there was “no question” former President Trump was an insurrectionist. When asked by a reporter if Trump was an insurrectionist, President Biden responded affirmatively, stating, “I think that’s certainly self-evident; you saw it all.” He suggested that the courts should determine the applicability of the 14th Amendment in this context.

    On the same day, President Trump denied being an insurrectionist and asserted that President Biden could fit that label instead. He highlighted issues such as an “open” border as contributing factors to what he described as the “destroying” of America.
