    Texas National Guard has seized control of a park in Eagle Pass that has served as a landing point for illegals crossing into the U.S. for two years. Great to finally see action against the Biden Administration who has been facilitating this invasion (fast clip below)

    The media used to call them illegal aliens. Everyone did. Then during the Obama administration, a concerted effort began to rebrand them. At one point they tried undocumented immigrants but it didn’t stick. Then a new euphemism was hatched: Migrants. Searches for the term began to expIode in 2021, right when Biden was sworn in. This did not happen by accident. This was a deliberate effort to downplay the invasion & the media gladly went along with it. – End Wokeness

    The advent of a new year symbolizes a fresh start, a chance for new beginnings, and a commitment to self-improvement. On a broader scale, our nation requires a similar rejuvenation. It is no secret that in the previous month, a historic monthly high of over 300,000 individuals entered the country illegally, facilitated by federal authorities. As Americans, a clear objective for 2024 emerges: putting an end to this influx.

    Acknowledging the complexity of the task, stopping this invasion is easier said than done. The staggering number of illegal entries last month suggests, at the very least, a significant failure on the part of the federal government—indicating gross incompetence. The Biden Administration’s inadequacies are no secret, but considering the sheer magnitude of the issue and the prolonged occurrence of the invasion, one cannot help but question if it is a deliberate strategy. Democratic strategists often emphasize that “demographics is destiny,” remaining unperturbed by their success.

    So, what course of action can resolute and concerned Americans take? The answer is straightforward: demand that elected officials relinquish authority over immigration, returning it to the states.

    In contrast to the present scenario, where the federal government holds almost unchecked control over immigration policy, history reveals that states once had more influence over immigration. This changed in the late 1800s when the U.S. Supreme Court expanded federal power through a questionable interpretation of Congress’s enumerated power “to establish a uniform Rule of Naturalization” in Article I Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution.     In Texas, efforts have been made to expand the state’s capacity to address illegal immigration, despite facing federal resistance. Texans should persist in this approach, refusing to seek permission from the federal government to secure their border. Every concerned state must assert its authority under Article 1, Section 10 of the Constitution, declaring the current influx of illegal aliens an invasion and taking steps to shut down illegal border crossings independently.

    Furthermore, immigration reform legislation requires strong sponsors to navigate through Congress. Texas, being one of the largest states, should encourage its representatives to advocate for expanded state powers in dealing directly with illegal immigration. This includes empowering states to fully enforce federal immigration laws, making violations of federal immigration law state crimes, and criminalizing illegal immigrants applying for, soliciting, or performing work.  Continued below James O’Keefe Vid

It should not require the near breakdown of city and state healthcare and education systems to prompt action on this critical matter.

    Ultimately, the choice made by liberal enclaves is their own, while those on the front lines must decide their course of action. To bring illegal immigration under control in 2024, there is a pressing need to expand states’ ability to independently address the issue without relying on federal intervention.

    The border invasion is perceived as a deliberate attack on Texas with the aim of turning the state blue. As the last border state with a Republican Governor, Texas plays a crucial role in safeguarding America and the free world. In the coming year, let us commit to returning to the original design and intent of our government structure. This alone can significantly reduce both illegal and “legal” immigration, restoring the separation of government powers and enhancing liberty for all.
