    Controversy Unfolds: New York High School Becomes Center Stage in Immigration Shelter Debate

    Schools all across America are about to become migrant centers, as Democrat mayors look to house illegals. Citizens can all go to hell, they care not for Americans. 

    ‘Locals in Brooklyn are protesting after James Madison High School was closed to students so migrants could setup camp in the high school. A shouting match took place outside of the school between anti-illegal migrant protesters and pro-illegal migrant protesters. One angry grandmother blamed Biden for the situation. “I blame the president first of all. But you can’t get to him, the mayor and the governor for not stepping up and voicing their outrage at how are we supposed to support all these people.” – Collin Rugg  (see clip below)

    In a surprising turn of events, James Madison High School in Midwood, New York, found itself at the center of a heated debate when city officials decided to relocate approximately 1,900 illegal immigrants to the school from Floyd Bennett Field due to a rainstorm. While officials cited concerns about the safety of tents at the field, parents like Jane Lyokovich and Tatyana Lerner expressed their frustrations and anxieties.

    Jane Lyokovich, a resident of Mill Basin and mother of a 15-year-old daughter attending James Madison High School, was displeased with the abrupt decision. Ms. Lyokovich, who had to take a day off work to supervise her daughter during remote learning, criticized the short and disruptive curriculum. She explained that her daughter was assigned only one task, which counted as attendance, leaving the rest of the day unproductive.

    Tatyana Lerner from Sheepshead Bay, another concerned parent, voiced worries about the potential spread of diseases like COVID-19 among students. Her son, Justin, even opted out of a swim competition due to safety concerns. Ms. Lerner, alongside other parents and politicians, participated in a protest outside the school on January 10, highlighting the discontent among the community.

    Assemblyman Michael Novakhov, planning to support Assembly Bill (AB) 8013, emphasized the inhumanity of sheltering migrants at a school and expressed relief that the city no longer plans to use James Madison High School for this purpose. The proposed bill aims to prevent any school, daycare, or community-based organization from being used to house illegal immigrants.

    Despite students returning to their classes, concerns lingered, prompting a lawsuit filed by a bipartisan group of politicians, including Democrat State Assemblywoman Jaime Williams, against Mayor Eric Adams’ administration and the State of New York. The lawsuit demands the closure of Floyd Bennett Field as an option for housing illegal immigrants, with a hearing scheduled for January 18.

    Critics attribute the surge in illegal immigrants seeking city services to U.S. President Joe Biden’s immigration policies. The federal government’s decision to grant work permits to Colombian, El Salvadoran, Guatemalan, and Honduran migrants with U.S. citizen or green cardholder relatives is considered a contributing factor.

    Nicole Gelinas, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, suggests that the local populace is suffering due to the administration’s policies, causing frustration among citizens who feel their concerns are not adequately addressed.

    New York City Mayor Eric Adams defended the decision to use schools for temporary migrant housing, emphasizing the city’s commitment to not allowing children or families to sleep on the streets during emergencies. Despite the criticism, Adams remains steadfast in his position, insisting on prioritizing the safety of children. or so he says.

    In response to the ongoing controversy, Republican and Conservative party candidate Tom Sullivan, vying for State Assembly District 23, expressed his intention to propose a bill if elected, declaring that New York is not a sanctuary state. Sullivan, a 30-year military veteran, believes that the sentiment towards accepting illegal immigrants must change immediately.

    As the community grapples with the aftermath of this unexpected turn of events, the debate over immigration policies and the use of schools for temporary shelters continues, creating a divide among residents and policymakers alike. The scheduled hearing on January 18 is anticipated to shed further light on the legality and consequences of housing illegal immigrants in public school facilities.  This controversy will not end. It will only increase over the following weeks and months as the Biden Administration employs all levels of government to get in as many illegals as possible for their own insidious reasons, which include a new voter base, as well as bankrupting the U.S. according to the Cloward-Piven strategy that Biden and all Democrats ascribe to.

    It would be wise if all Americans understood the plan, hatched decades ago, in which the Democrats actively planned the destruction of American freedom by bankrupting our nation. This is estimated to cost the U.S. in 2024 alone, over 451 billion dollars that we do not have.  The effect, of course, is to force tax rates over 90% for all Americans while making all item in all stores skyrocket in pricing, to cement the fall of the American Republic and bring about Marxism.
