Throwing money at yet another issues, with a rising price tag per year, and additional taxation on the American people. The Democrats continue to bankrupt the U.S. at record pace.
Vice President Kamala Harris recently unveiled a significant initiative by the Biden administration to allocate $285 million towards bolstering mental health services for students in public schools situated in communities grappling with the scourge of gun-related violence. The announcement took place during a “Roundtable Discussion on Gun Violence Prevention” at Eastway Middle School in Charlotte, North Carolina, on January 11. There is no doubt that all such counselors will be pronoun warriors, touting Trans insanity as well as other various Leftist causes. This is the Democrat way. Increasing government payrolls to bankrupt the system.

During her opening remarks, Vice President Harris emphasized that the funds would be utilized to hire and train 14,000 counselors while also creating a designated “safe place” within schools to assist students in coping with the traumatic effects of gun-related crimes in their communities. Reflecting on her conversations with affected students prior to the announcement, she underscored the importance of funding programs to instill a sense of safety within school premises. Or so she says.
Marxist Secretary of Education Michael Cardona, who commenced the meeting, shared a poignant personal experience about the first day of his daughter’s senior year. Expressing concern not just for academic success but also for her safety, he highlighted the pervasive anxiety among parents across the nation regarding the safety of their children in schools. If these Democrats actually cared for the safety of students, they would enforce existing law and support the local police. But instead, they move at all levels to increase crime and hurt as many people as possible.

Vice President Harris, concurrently overseeing the newly established White House Office on Gun Violence Prevention, outlined the administration’s broader initiatives. Last month, the administration introduced the “Safer States Agenda,” aimed at fostering state-level adaptations of federal programs. This includes the establishment of state offices dedicated to gun violence prevention, advocacy for safe storage practices, and endorsement of red flag laws. Since Harris has done such a stellar job as the border Czar, failing miserably as Democrats have always done, it is just amazing how she is now in charge of gun violence. The truth of it then is Biden and the Democrats want gun violence to increase, just as illegals have multiplied under Harris’ watch. The Left, Lord Obama, put Harris into these positions for a reason. To fail.
The office is actively collaborating with state officials to address issues such as renewing the assault weapons ban (to deprive law-abiding citizens of their rights), implementing red flag legislation, and mandating background checks for all gun sales. These efforts are particularly timely given the alarming statistic mentioned by Vice President Harris, stating that one-fifth of Americans have experienced the loss of a family member due to gun violence. But when you just open your eyes, you will realize that ALL such measures are aimed at the peaceful law-abiding citizens. Just about ZERO criminals will care for any ban on guns. Only citizens looking to defend themselves and their families will be affected. This is the Democrat plan, always.

However, there exists a divergence of opinions on the significance of guns in causing harm to American children. While gun violence is presented as the leading cause of death for children in the statement, organizations focused on gun rights and Second Amendment advocates challenge this assertion. The Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC) contends that car accidents are the primary cause of death for individuals under 18, and gun violence only assumes the top spot when considering those under 20. Also, the vast majority of gun violence is committed in Democrat cities, by those that have historically voted for Democrats. Amazingly this fact is never accounted for.
CPRC argues that a considerable portion of firearm deaths involving individuals under 20 are linked to gang-related activities, emphasizing that even stringent gun control measures may not deter criminal organizations from acquiring weapons to safeguard their illicit interests. We all know it simply will not work. Criminals by their nature do not follow the law or care for the statutes in any way. Just like most gun crimes and school shootings occur in ‘gun free zones’. The Criminals know that the citizens are disarmed in such gun free zones, so schools can be shot up at will. Democrats seem to want this it seems. They will not openly say it, but every action they take is to expand gun free zones so more and more citizens are disarmed and at the mercy of criminals, who are armed.
