    Arriving at the hospital on January 13, Lake engaged in a heartfelt conversation with Krachenfels, seeking to understand his situation better. The visit culminated in a sincere prayer, touching on topics ranging from the country and Krachenfels’ family to President Trump. Recounting the encounter, Krachenfels expressed that it was an encouraging and special moment, providing comfort during a challenging time.

    Tim Krachenfels, 45, explained the events leading to his hospitalization, revealing that he and his wife attended President Trump’s Fox News town hall on January 10 at the Iowa Events Center. Following the event, he began feeling unwell, initially attributing it to a preexisting medical issue. However, it turned out to be more serious—an amalgamation of his previous condition, the flu, and a resulting blood infection.

    After seeking emergency care on January 11, Krachenfels was discharged but continued to worsen. An ambulance was dispatched to their home, and it became evident that he needed urgent hospitalization.

    Despite the critical situation, the couple urged their Trump-campaigning children to continue their mission without letting their father’s hospitalization deter them. Both emphasized the importance of the current political climate and the dedication needed to support President Trump during a crucial time.

    Speaking from another hospital where he was transferred, Krachenfels expressed hope for a discharge on Sunday, emphasizing the commitment of his family to the Trump campaign.

    In a separate interview at the Urbandale campaign office, Jayce Krachenfels revealed the ongoing efforts of volunteers, including assembling hundreds of yard signs. The campaign office, buzzing with activity, saw volunteers making last-minute phone calls, urging people to participate in the upcoming Caucus Night and vote for President Trump.

    Lake, impressed by the dedication of the volunteers, remarked on the historic significance of the moment and the collective effort to save the country. She emphasized the pivotal role Iowa would play in shaping history on Monday night, expressing gratitude for the Americans actively contributing to the cause.
