    A striking revelation in the letter is the assertion that taxpayers are subsidizing EVs at a rate of $50,000 per vehicle over a decade. The letter calculates this as a gasoline-equivalent subsidy of $17.33 per gallon, emphasizing the inefficacy of such subsidies in improving the climate or environment.

    Turning attention to offshore wind farming, the letter claims it is the most expensive method of electricity generation, drawing parallels with the skepticism directed at EVs. The letter argues that offshore wind power offers no guarantee of improving weather, climate, or the environment.
