Wasting time while still authorizing Biden’s bankrupting of America. No one is fooled by this ‘Bipartisan’ scam
The U.S. Congress is making strides towards the creation of a bipartisan commission aimed at addressing the escalating $34 trillion national debt. In a 22-12 vote, the Republican-led House Budget Committee approved the formation of a 16-member commission tasked with submitting fiscal policy recommendations. The proposed panel would consist of six Republican and six Democratic lawmakers, along with four outside experts lacking voting power. It is all designed to waste time while still allowing Biden and the Deep State to bankrupt the United States.
Abortion, open border, 34 trillion national debt, green new deal. You are a basic ventriloquist for democrat talking points. Have you ever given a crap about New Mexicans, probably not just a Schumer butt buddy. Resign and let someone with morals take over. – same on GETTR. Bugslinger1955
The primary goal of the commission would be to evaluate measures for balancing the federal budget at the earliest opportunity. Special attention would be given to proposing mechanisms to enhance the long-term solvency of crucial programs, particularly Medicare and Social Security. Additionally, the commission would be mandated to conduct six hearings across the nation and deliver a final report with recommendations by May 2025. By this time, the debt of the U.S. will be trillions more than it is now as these politicians move to give ever more billions of dollars away to the world, that we do not have.
Con Artist and Deep State stooge House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) expressed optimism about this development, referring to it as “a positive step towards fiscal sanity.” This man has now proven himself to be worse than McCarthy. Johnson is McCarthy, hiding behind a cross, to placate the population while helping Biden and the Deep State destroy the nation fiscally. He is helping them keep our borders wide open. Johnson is helping Biden and crew invade with millions more illegals. This is not a serious man. Unless you say he is seriously compromised. Committee Chair Rep. Jodey Arrington (R-Texas) attributed the need for such a commission to the fiscal irresponsibility of both parties. He emphasized the urgency of addressing the unsustainable national debt, labeling it the most significant challenge of the 21st century. Blah, Blah, Blah, they talk and talk while at the same time allowing the invasion and continuation of bilking the taxpayers for the Ukrainian dictatorship.

Arrington urged a collective effort to examine the unfunded liabilities that could jeopardize the nation’s financial future. He emphasized the importance of formulating a plan that would secure the freedom and opportunities for future generations.
However, Democrats, including Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-Penn.), voiced concerns that the commission might be used as a backdoor method to push through unpopular cuts to Medicare and Social Security. The excuse they use in all things. Moderate Democrats, like Rep. Scott Peters (D-Calif.), argued that Social Security benefits may face reduction after the scheme’s reserves are depleted, necessitating the commission to address America’s financial challenges. More and more lies as nearly no one is saying any of it. Democrats are masters of deception and language control. They twist reality into their strange little world and think we will just all accept it. Perfect example is their desire to sexualize and get children abused sexually in schools with actual porn. When Conservatives move to stop porn in schools, these political animals cry censorship and claim Republicans want to burn books. That’s how they play their games, and with near total control over media, there is a portion of society that has no idea of the facts. These low information folks, who vote Democrat generally, hear con artists like Mayorkas or Biden claim that the border is secure. Like Lemmings, they all repeat ‘the border is secure’. Sure…. and the 2020 election was the most secure in history, as the Mockingbird media has repeated daily for years now. We believe them. Right? Yeah, I’m being sarcastic.
Notably, the ultimate decision on the commission’s recommendations would rest with Congress. But knowing what we all know, I don’t think anyone has any faith in anything that they do.
Today, as I post this, the US National Debt stands at $34.059 Trillion.

In the Senate, Senators Mitt Romney (R-Utah) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va) have introduced similar legislation to establish a national debt commission. In a joint opinion piece for The Hill, Senators Manchin and Romney, along with Representatives Peters and Bill Huizenga (R-Mich.), advocated for a bipartisan fiscal commission. They emphasized the need to set aside political posturing and work collaboratively to find practical solutions that safeguard critical programs like Medicare and Social Security. Blah, Blah, Blah…. meanwhile the Senate looks to pass a near secret budget to destroy the U.S. even faster than the House is willing to do.
Experts, including Brian Riedl, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, have supported the idea of a fiscal commission. Riedl suggested that such a commission could bring bipartisan credibility to a deficit-reduction plan, encouraging public support. He proposed policy recommendations, such as excluding affluent retirees from Social Security cost-of-living adjustments and increasing Medicare premiums for upper-income retirees.
The national debt has ballooned to $34 trillion dollars, this means each person in the US has a debt obligation of $102,800, and each household has a debt of $258,700. In 3 short years, the interest payments on the debt alone will surpass our national defense spending! pic.twitter.com/fYuYPp6opZ

Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB), acknowledged that while the initiative might not entirely solve the fiscal challenges, it would give the country’s dire fiscal situation the attention it deserves.
Turning to the current state of the national debt, as of Jan. 19, it exceeded $34.072 trillion, rising by $82 billion since the beginning of the year. In the first quarter of fiscal year 2024, the U.S. government recorded a budget deficit of approximately $510 billion. Notably, a significant portion of Washington’s expenditures is directed towards servicing the national debt, with net interest payments totaling $216 billion in the first three months of FY 2024.

President Joe Biden’s claim of reducing the national debt by $1.7 trillion in his first two years has faced scrutiny. It is a complete lie. Despite this assertion, the national debt has surged by over $6.3 trillion under the current administration. The urgency to address the mounting debt is underscored by the fact that, in the last two decades, the national debt has tripled as a share of the economy, with annual deficits reaching $2 trillion. The looming fiscal challenges necessitate prompt action to prevent uncharted territory in the nation’s financial landscape. Joe Biden is all but set to go down in history and the worst president we’ve ever had.
