It’s a total safe zone for Democrats (ask Michael Sussmann). So the only route for a Republican administration to indict a Democrat president is to shut down DC federal court entirely (which Trump and GOP should be immediately in 2025 if he’s elected) and move jurisdiction to VA or MD.     Presidents are immune for their official acts, and President Trump should assert presidential immunity. They should be immune both civilly and criminally, just like federal judges and Members of Congress. The reason this has not been established yet is we are breaking new ground by charging a former President of the United States with a crime as Democrats have charged President Trump four different times.

Biden claims ignorance about the presence of these documents, but his aides worry that political rival Donald Trump could exploit Hur’s report, drawing parallels to Trump’s own investigation into post-presidential handling of classified documents, where he faces felony charges.

    Hur, appointed by Trump in 2017, is tasked with producing a report detailing the investigation’s findings, and the uncertainty surrounding its release is causing unease within Biden’s camp. Attorney General Merrick Garland, who appointed Hur, has pledged transparency in explaining prosecution decisions and strategic choices throughout the process.

    During media questioning at the time of discovery, Biden affirmed the locked garage security, but concerns remain about potential political consequences. The classified documents are believed to contain information on Iran, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and personal family matters, including documents related to the late Beau Biden’s funeral.

    The White House and Biden’s attorney, Bob Bauer, have refrained from commenting on the situation, in contrast to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s swift indictment of Trump back in July for the alleged unlawful retention of national defense information, obstruction of justice conspiracy, and false statements.

    Recent revelations about the FBI missing a ‘hidden room’ during the August 2022 raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate add another layer to the comparison. Smith’s team is exploring this hidden room and a locked closet, attempting to determine if any classified documents remain at Mar-a-Lago.

    Trump, indicted in June, faces seven federal charges related to document retention, violation of the Espionage Act, and conspiracy. Trump also faces federal charges related to the fake FBI-Pelosi created January 6th insurrection, trumped-up business dealings in New York, supposed attempts to bribe Stormy Daniels, and charges in Georgia related to overturning the 2020 election results.

    The uncertainty surrounding Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate and the alleged efforts to conceal classified documents raise questions about the thoroughness of the FBI’s search. Trump’s changing of the closet lock and his denial of wrongdoing further complicate the situation. The most important aspect to remember is it is the POTUS who decides if anything is classified or not. To go after a president for this then, is ridiculous and shows how desperate the Leftist run DOJ actually is.

The situation highlights the challenges faced by both current and former presidents in managing sensitive information and navigating the complex landscape of post-presidential scrutiny.  Biden, unlike Trump, was the VP and did not have authority to declassify any documents.  But is there anyone reading this who seriously thinks that a Far-Left run DOJ would make any moves against Biden? Chances are close to zero by my estimates. Let Trump cross a street not within a crosswalk, and they will arrest him. This shows the political nature of all of this nonsense thrown at President Trump.
