Trump says all foreign aid should be made as loans as national debt surpasses $34 trillion – Just The News
Former President Donald Trump has urged the U.S. Congress to reconsider its approach to providing foreign aid to other nations. In a recent social media post on his Truth Social platform, Trump emphasized the need to attach conditions to such aid, proposing a shift from outright grants to offering loans with favorable terms. As usual, he comes up with novel and entrepreneurial ideas to help save this nation and help us prosper, unlike the Democrats or RINOS that currently infest Washington DC.
You know why politicians never call to this common sense policy? Because foreign aid is how they launder money to themselves. There really very few that support this, but every American should! Trump is a man of the people- Uncommon Sense
In his message, the 45th president directed his plea specifically to the U.S. Senate, stating, “No money in the form of foreign aid should be given to any country unless it is done as a loan, not just a giveaway.” Trump suggested that these loans could be provided with exceptionally favorable terms, including no interest and an unlimited repayment period. However, he underscored the importance of establishing conditions, asserting that the aid should be contingent on the recipient nation maintaining a positive relationship with the United States. If the aided country were to turn against the U.S. or experience economic prosperity in the future, the loan should be repaid.
This call for a new approach to foreign aid comes as Trump, a key figure in the “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement, actively campaigns for the 2024 presidency. His foreign policy record during his previous tenure has been marked by questioning the U.S. commitment to funding multilateral efforts beyond what he considered a fair share. Trump believed that many international platforms were no longer aligned with U.S. interests, emphasizing the need to prioritize benefits for American producers and manufacturers over those of other countries.

The former president’s shift toward an “America First” policy in international relations caused friction with some partner nations. However, over time, Trump’s criticisms and policies have led to a reevaluation of agreements among allies, resulting in increased investments by partner nations in intergovernmental institutions like NATO.
“We should never give money anymore without the hope of a payback or without ‘strings’ attached,” Trump asserted. He emphasized the need for the United States to be strategic in its foreign aid distribution and avoid being taken advantage of.

Amid the stalling of the Senate's $118 billion foreign aid bill, former President Donald Trump introduced a new policy proposal Saturday, vowing to turn all future foreign aid from obligation-free bailouts to "loans" that should be paid back.— WetGeek (@WetGeek) February 11, 2024
Trump’s comments were made in the lead-up to a campaign rally in Conway, South Carolina, following the recent failure of a $118 billion foreign security package in the Senate, a measure he opposed. Despite the setback, Trump experienced a record-breaking week at the polls, surpassing his 2016 record in the Nevada Republican Caucus on Feb. 8. This victory earned him all 26 delegates in the state.
The Senate is working on the aid package for Israel & Ukraine that doesn’t include anything about the border/immigration policy after Republicans changed their minds about that being a priority. @Eugene_Scott & @MollyJongFast join #TheWeekend to discuss. https://t.co/Ga2twcu3YB

As Trump continues his campaign, he maintains a strong stance on his vision for the future, stating, “2024 is our Final Battle.” He expressed determination to confront what he referred to as the “Deep State,” eliminate warmongers from the government, expel globalists, and combat ideologies such as communism, Marxism, and fascism. Trump also pledged to challenge the political class, address issues with the media, and “Drain the Swamp” to liberate the country from perceived tyrants and villains.
With the South Carolina primaries scheduled for Feb. 24, Trump’s messages resonate with his supporters as he seeks to rally them for what he sees as a crucial battle for the future of the United States. The Democrats as well as their minions in the Republican Party like Mitch and other RINOS, are doing their best to drain the United States of resources, nearly guaranteeing that we go bankrupt in the not-so-distant future. The Democrat plan, intensified now (It is called Cloward-Piven strategy – click here to find out about it) thanks to migrants getting $220 each in welfare per month, is pushing the timetable forward by years. The Marxist cabal in charge, along with their WEF allies are planning for a Great Reset as they call it, where we will own nothing, and they will be our overlords. In other words, Marxism. To get there, they are doing their best to increase crime, increase debt, and destroy the dollar so that we cannot pay interest on our bonds. The end result is economic disaster and possibly depression, in which the Democrats and their other Marxist allies somehow think they will end up on top as the people go hungry.
This can happen within a few years now, so this November will be all telling.
