    Transatlantic Tensions: Trump’s NATO Remarks Stir Concerns among European Leaders and Deep State Republicans

    Let’s review shall we, what nations pay their fair share and what nations are on welfare, paid by American taxpayers.

    Buzz Patterson says ‘Democrats are foaming at the mouth because House Republicans and Trump are forcing the issue on NATO and Ukraine funding. Let me boil it down for you guys. This is why. We PAY NATO to PROTECT NATO. NATO members are not chipping in for their own defense. Why should we? Especially in light of what’s going down internally in our nation and on OUR border. That’s what Trump and @SpeakerJohnson are saying! And I fully agree.’

    In a surprising turn of events, former President Donald Trump’s recent remarks regarding NATO commitments have left European leaders who are Deep State driven, bewildered, raising questions about the future of the military alliance. The NATO chief, Jens Stoltenberg, expressed deep concern, emphasizing that any suggestion of wavering commitment among allies jeopardizes the collective security of the West.

    Stoltenberg, in a statement on Sunday, underscored the significance of unity among NATO members, stating, “Any suggestion that allies will not defend each other undermines all of our security, including that of the US, and puts American and European soldiers at increased risk.” He firmly asserted that the United States would continue to be a steadfast NATO ally, irrespective of the presidential election outcome, and reiterated the alliance’s readiness to respond forcefully to any attacks.

    The controversy erupted after Trump, during a rally, hinted that nations failing to meet NATO’s 2 percent defense spending target might not receive protection from the United States. Trump remarked, “You didn’t pay? You’re delinquent? No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You got to pay. You got to pay your bills.”

    So, in essence, the mental cases of the Deep State, whoever is pulling Haley’s strings, actually is still playing their Russia, Rusia, Russia nonsense and think the American people believe any of it. Thy are so wrong and I hope they keep their stupidity up so more and more Americans reject them all before November.

    A 2023 NATO report revealed that only seven out of 31 member nations met the 2 percent GDP spending target on defense in 2022. Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Poland’s defense minister, strongly criticized Trump’s stance, emphasizing the importance of NATO’s commitment to collective defense. He asserted that undermining the credibility of allied countries weakens the entire NATO alliance and called for a unified approach to security.

    Charles Michel, president of the European Council, highlighted the longstanding role of NATO in securing the prosperity of Americans, Canadians, and Europeans. He cautioned against reckless statements on NATO’s security, stating that such remarks only serve Russia’s interests and underscored the need for the European Union to enhance its strategic autonomy and invest in defense.

    Let’s point blank this: Just like people on welfare, nations on welfare will always fight to keep their welfare. NATO nations that refuse to pay their fair share are on welfare. That way they can put their billions into helping their people while America continues to waste taxpayer funds to defend these welfare recipients on the global stage.  President Trump is 100% correct.

    Despite the Republican party being divided (RINOS are against Trump) over Trump’s comments, some prominent figures expressed concerns. Nikki Haley, a GOP presidential challenger, urged against siding with Russia, emphasizing the importance of maintaining strong alliances. Senator Lindsey Graham disagreed with Trump’s delivery but pointed out that Russia did not invade any country during Trump’s presidency.  Haly, who does as she is told by the Deep State, has her head so far up their rears that she has lost sight of reality, and the light.

    Liz Cheney fails to say a word about the majority of NATO members who failed to meet their 2% obligations with a 10 year timeline starting in 2014. 19 of the 30 NATO Members have ignored the 2% obligation for 10 years.     Senator Marco Rubio defended Trump, asserting that criticisms were unwarranted as previous presidents also voiced concerns about NATO member contributions. Senator Tom Cotton echoed Trump’s sentiments, suggesting that insufficient defense spending by NATO countries, such as Germany, encourages Russian aggression.

    Dr. Patrick Bury, a defense and security expert and former NATO analyst, acknowledged the validity of playing hardball with NATO allies but cautioned against going too far. He explained that Trump’s comments reflect frustration in the United States about European nations not meeting their defense obligations. Bury expressed concern about the potential impact on NATO’s cohesion, especially in the current global context where Russia is on high alert, outspending European nations in military capabilities.

    A 2023 NATO report revealed the United States accounted for a substantial portion of the alliance’s GDP and defense expenditure, emphasizing its pivotal role within NATO. As discussions unfold, the future of NATO hangs in the balance, with the need for cohesion and commitment among member nations taking center stage.

    For NATO to continue, it must be fair. The United State cannot continue to pay all of the bills with only a few nations like Poland holding their own. President Trump once again is putting America first, and NATO nations simply need to do what they agreed to so American taxpayers aren’t further hurt.
