    In a recent development, West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, a Republican, has called on Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment to replace President Joe Biden due to mounting concerns about his mental health. The call was made in a letter dated Feb. 13, where Morrisey outlined his apprehensions about President Biden’s mental acuity, citing various instances to persuade Vice President Harris to take action.  See clip below

    Morrisey’s letter coincided with the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on the investigation into President Biden’s handling of classified documents. The report characterized President Biden as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” highlighting his mental fitness as “hazy,” “significantly limited,” and displaying signs of “diminished faculties and faulty memory.”

    Expressing concern over what he perceives as a decline in the president’s cognitive abilities, Morrisey wrote, “For too long, Americans have had to stand by and watch as their president has experienced a profound cognitive decline.” He pointed to instances where President Biden mixed up world leaders, struggled with basic issues in public speeches, and appeared disoriented at events.

    The 25th Amendment outlines the constitutional process for removing a president deemed unable to fulfill the responsibilities of the office. Morrisey emphasized that the special counsel’s report “paints a clear picture of a president who is not up for the job,” adding that it adds to the growing evidence indicating a leadership crisis in America.

    Morrisey acknowledged that invoking the 25th Amendment is an extreme measure but argued that it is necessary for the well-being of the nation. He stressed the need for a mentally fit president, given the intense demands of the office, where critical decisions must be made swiftly.

    Vice President Harris, however, rejected the report’s conclusions, describing them as “gratuitous, inaccurate, and inappropriate” and labeled them as “politically motivated.” In an interview with The Wall Street Journal conducted before the report’s release, Harris expressed readiness to assume the presidency, confidently stating, “I am ready to serve. There’s no question about that.”

    Morrisey urged Vice President Harris to set aside personal relationships and evaluate the situation objectively, believing that “now is the time for extreme measures.”

    The West Virginia attorney general’s call for invoking the 25th Amendment follows similar demands from other lawmakers. Senator Josh Hawley urged Attorney General Merrick Garland to invoke the amendment if charges were not brought against President Biden regarding the handling of classified documents. Representative Claudia Tenney also called for President Biden’s removal through the 25th Amendment, expressing “grave concerns” about his mental fitness.

    Even within the Democratic Party, there are voices suggesting a potential change in the presidential candidate. Democratic political strategist James Carville mentioned that it’s not too late for the party to consider such a change, although he acknowledged the potential chaos it could entail.

A recent NBC News poll indicated that 72 percent of Americans are worried about the president’s age, reflecting a growing sentiment that the issue needs careful consideration and deliberation.  The American people know what condition the man is in. It is a damned shame his wife and family have him in this position, which is really elder abuse, all for their millions raked in via wires from Communist China and other enemies of the U.S.
