    Trump Vows to Defend Christian Values and Cross Amidst Left’s Criticism

Trump warned attendees that the left aims to “tear down crosses” and replace them with what he referred to as “social justice flags.”

    Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Trump drew parallels between the left’s actions and historical attempts by communist and fascist regimes to control or eliminate churches. He asserted, “Every communist regime throughout history has tried to stamp out the churches, just like every fascist regime has tried to co-opt them and control them. And, in America, the radical left is trying to do both.”

    Trump assured the audience that under his administration, the cross of Christ would remain untouched. This promise echoed his previous commitment to protecting the Second Amendment, as he had assured the National Rifle Association, “No one will lay a finger on your firearms.”

    Amidst a reduced Republican primary field, where Trump is a frontrunner alongside his former ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, the convention provided a friendly setting for the former president. The atmosphere resembled a rally more than a conventional speech, with attendees receiving red and white baseball caps emblazoned with the slogan “Make America Pray Again.”

    In response to perceived attempts by the left to shame Christians, Trump declared, “The left is trying to shame Christians. They’re trying to shame us. I’m a very proud Christian.” He received standing ovations from the crowd as he championed his record on abortion, emphasizing his role in appointing three conservative Supreme Court justices who played a key role in overturning the Roe v. Wade decision.

    However, Trump notably omitted mention of the recent Alabama Supreme Court ruling that prompted a temporary halt to in vitro fertilization, as frozen embryos were deemed children under state law. President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign capitalized on this omission, releasing a statement highlighting Trump’s silence on the matter.

    Despite controversies surrounding Trump’s personal history, including legal issues related to hush money payments, religious leaders have become a solidly loyal base within the “Make America Great Again” movement. Initially skeptical of the multi-divorcee when he first entered politics in 2016, religious leaders now perceive Trump as someone who understands and connects with them, according to Troy Miller, president and CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters.

    Trump concluded his speech by boasting about his first-term achievements, asserting that he had done “more to uphold religious freedom than any administration in history.” He expressed confidence in the growing enthusiasm for his reelection bid, stating, “The enthusiasm for this election coming up in November is far greater than it was in 2016 or 2020. Far greater, it’s not even a contest.”

    As Tennessee prepares for its primary on Super Tuesday, March 5, the results could potentially propel Trump closer to securing the Republican nomination, setting the stage for a contentious and highly anticipated election.  We all know President Trump has the nomination for the Republican Party almost guaranteed.  The real battle comes after Super-Tuesday, when Deep State Haley will be forced to quit since it will then be mathematically impossible for her to win.  Even her Democrat billionaire donors will then tell her to get lost.  She will have served her purpose to hurt Trump as long as possible, while helping Biden and the Deep State.
