U.S. House Republicans, spearheaded by Congressman Jim Jordan from Ohio, have proposed a bill that aims to eliminate federal funding for special counsel Jack Smith’s legal actions against former President Donald Trump. This move is part of a broader effort by Rep. Jordan, who chairs the House Judiciary Committee, to amend the 2025 federal budget. The proposed changes include a prohibition on funding for “politically sensitive investigations” and the enforcement of “radical regulations.” The only problem with the whole effort is Jim Jordan himself. He is a talker and sounds wonderful to MAGA. But does absolutely NOTHING for this nation other than sound good for the camera. And he does sound so good…. If only he were real and not a Deep State controlled schmuck. …

The letter addressed to House Appropriations Chair Tom Cole, also from Oklahoma, outlines several legislative proposals. One key item specifically seeks to halt funding for the criminal prosecution of any former or current President or Vice President by the Department of Justice. This would affect two significant federal cases against Trump, one concerning the 2021 Capitol riots and another related to his handling of classified documents.
Additionally, Jordan’s legislative push includes measures targeting a separate election interference case in Georgia, handled by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Jordan has requested that federal funds not be directed to assist state prosecutors or attorneys general in cases against a sitting or former President or Vice President at the state level. This action aligns with his broader agenda to restrict the scope and influence of federal funding in state legal matters, particularly those he deems politically motivated.
Jim Jordan Appears That He Has Successfully TRAPPED Fauci Into Lying Under Oath
“I said eleven seconds,” Jordan remarked with a big grin while giving a wink to a colleague.

Rep. Jordan has also highlighted concerns regarding the use of federal funds by the Fulton County DA’s office in their prosecution of Trump and his co-defendants over attempts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia. He claimed to have received whistleblower testimony alleging misuse of funds designated for anti-gang efforts to support the investigation into Trump.
The House faces a deadline of September 29 to finalize the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. However, the process is complicated by negotiations with the U.S. Senate and the potential for a presidential veto, which could significantly influence the timeline and outcome of these funding proposals. The White House had already submitted its recommendations for the bill in March, indicating that any attempts to cut funding for these high-profile cases would face substantial challenges from President Biden.

Following a conviction of Trump in New York on a separate charge, Rep. Jordan denounced the verdict as a “travesty of justice,” accusing it of being part of an effort to detract from Trump’s political activities and to divert attention from what he views as President Biden’s unsuccessful policies. He has been an active defender of Trump, even making appearances in Manhattan to support him during his trials.
Jordan remains optimistic about Trump’s chances on appeal, despite the ongoing legal battles. He argues that the public can see through what he describes as Democratic attempts to use legal challenges for political gain. Regardless of the legislative success of Jordan’s proposals, the ongoing federal cases against Trump are expected to be delayed beyond the November election, partly due to a stay issued by a judge awaiting a Supreme Court decision on Trump’s immunity claims. If Trump is re-elected, he is anticipated to direct the Department of Justice to dismiss both cases. As he should do. The witch hunt is not ending
Major points
- U.S. House Republicans, led by Congressman Jim Jordan, are pushing legislation to cut federal funding for special counsel Jack Smith’s investigations against former President Donald Trump.
- The proposed changes aim to block funding for any criminal prosecutions of former or current Presidents or Vice Presidents by the Department of Justice.
- The legislation also seeks to prevent federal support for state-level prosecutions, including a notable election interference case in Georgia led by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
- The push includes allegations of misuse of federal funds by Willis’s office in the investigation into Trump’s actions during the 2020 election.
- The outcome of this legislative effort is uncertain due to the need for Senate approval and the potential for a presidential veto, with the federal cases likely to be delayed past the upcoming November election.
- Jim Jordan is known to sound good, and write plenty of letters, but at this point we have now seen he is only a talker. Controlled opposition, and ruled by the Deep State. he does as they say, and NEVER takes actual action that will do anything.
