If you need a uniform made, who better than Ralph Lauren?
The Olympics may be taking place in Paris this summer, but Team USA’s uniforms are unmistakably American. Ralph Lauren, the official outfitter of Team USA for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, has unveiled the team’s attire for the opening and closing ceremonies, combining classic American style with practical design elements.
For the opening ceremony on July 26, athletes will don a navy wool blazer with red and white tipping. This blazer is adorned with Ralph Lauren’s iconic pony logo on one side and the Team USA Olympics logo on the other, presenting a blend of sophistication and patriotism. Underneath, athletes will wear a striped Oxford shirt and tapered jeans, completing the preppy ensemble. Male athletes will also sport a dark blue knitted tie, adding a touch of formal elegance, while female athletes will forgo the tie. The look is finished with a pair of suede buck shoes, emphasizing comfort and style.

The closing ceremony on August 11 will see athletes in a sportier outfit. They will wear a racing-style jacket emblazoned with various Team USA logos and the Ralph Lauren pony logo, all set against a bold, color-blocked backdrop of red, white, and blue. White denim trousers, a baseball cap, a traditional polo shirt, and a Team USA belt are worn with this jacket. In a picture of skateboarder Jagger Eaton wearing the closing ceremony outfit, the pants had “Team USA” printed on one leg and texture decoration around the knees.
