Caitlin Clark continues to do well. Too well for the serpents now surrounding her, egged on by their racist thoughts and ways. If only they can just play the damn sport….
Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston each scored 22 points, and Caitlin Clark recorded her second career double-double as the Indiana Fever secured their third consecutive victory with an 88-81 win over the Washington Mystics on Wednesday night. Clark contributed significantly with 18 points, a career-high 12 rebounds, six assists, and four steals for the Fever (5-10). Reflecting on her performance, Clark credited her teammates for their support, especially in rebounding.
According to Clark, “sometimes the ball just bounces your way a little bit more.” “Our bigs are maybe boxing out and hitting a little bit more, but I have a little more freedom to go chase the ball because the individuals I’m covering are usually coming back on defense. So well done. I take great delight in trying to chase it down off the basket and then really go because I think we’re really good when I can get it off the hoop and push in transition.

However, turnovers remain an issue for Clark; she had six in this game and leads the league with 5.5 turnovers per game. NaLyssa Smith added 11 points and Erica Wheeler contributed nine points off the bench in a strong second-half performance for the Fever.
Indiana has now won five of their last seven games, marking their first four-game winning streak at home since August 2015. Clark emphasized the importance of building confidence and learning from each game.
“The confidence that we’ve been able to build from the last three games is, you know, continue to take a step forward and learn each game, and if we do happen to lose one, how are we going to respond?” Clark said. “That’s been a big thing for us, too. We managed to bounce back from our last defeat and win three games in a row. We’ve improved a lot over the past three games, in my opinion, and we’re still getting better.
