Kamala Harris and her advisors are telling hit it may very well be time to be President of the United States. AN alternate plan offered and spoken about is them giving her a seat on the Supreme Court in exchange for her allowing someone else to be appointed Vice President. To accomplish this little move, the Democrats are now pressuring Justice Sotomayor to voluntarily leave the court. The coup crowd will then immediately give Kamala the nod, allowing her to leave the Vice presidency and allow Biden to appoint what the Democrats will hope is the next President. Hillary Clinton’s crew is the one thinking of this absolutely insane possibility as she expects to be named Vice President. I wonder how long Biden would live if she were to become the VP. We all know how so many who oppose her have perished.
In the aftermath of President Joe Biden’s lackluster performance in a recent debate, discussions within the Democratic Party have been animated, though Vice President Kamala Harris’s potential as his replacement was notably absent from the public discourse. During this turbulent time, other prominent Democrats, such as California Governor Gavin Newsom and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, have been floated as potential candidates for the presidential ticket, overshadowing Harris despite her prominent position and qualifications.
Wow.
Kamala Harris came out SWINGING post-debate.

Despite the oversight, Harris has dutifully maintained her role in supporting Biden, a task that became particularly critical following the debate. Democratic strategist Michael Trujillo emphasized that Harris’s best strategy was to continue being an exemplary Vice President, focusing her efforts internally rather than engaging in external political maneuvers.
Immediately following the debate, Harris was engaged in interviews where she had to address the debate’s outcomes. Her response was to project confidence and leadership, acknowledging the debate’s shortcomings while shifting focus towards Biden’s strengths and record, especially against criticisms from former President Donald Trump. Her approach was to both acknowledge the reality of the debate and to pivot the conversation towards Biden’s accomplishments and experience on both the national and international stages.
The frustration among Harris’s allies was palpable, especially given the speculation about other potential candidates. Some allies, deeply offended, expressed dismay at the racial undertones they perceived in the discussions, highlighting Harris’s unique position as the first Black and South Asian woman to hold the vice presidency. They felt that overlooking her as a serious candidate was a slight not just to her but to the values of diversity and representation the Democratic Party professes to uphold.
“Kamala Harris’s post-debate interviews were almost as much of a train wreck as Joe Biden’s debate performance itself. She clearly did not believe what she was saying in defending him.”

Moreover, Harris’s political reality provides her with unique advantages. Should Biden not continue his campaign, Harris, by virtue of her current role and her access to campaign resources, stands as a logically preferable choice. The challenges of setting up a new campaign for another candidate would be immense, contrasting sharply with the continuity Harris could provide.
Despite some skepticism due to her polling numbers, Harris’s recent months have seen her gain confidence and enhance her profile, partly through extensive official and campaign-related travel. Her visibility and familiarity to Democratic voters remain high, a fact underscored by a recent poll showing her as a popular choice among Democrats for future leadership roles.

As the debate fallout continues to influence public and party opinion, Harris is focusing on fundraising and subtly asserting her readiness to step up if needed. This situation necessitates a delicate balance of defending Biden while also positioning herself as a capable potential leader, a role she will likely continue to navigate in the lead-up to the Democratic convention and beyond. If asked to go the Supreme Court route, which would be the most entertaining option, we will all be seeing some major fireworks over the next few months.
