You never know what to expect these days. Terror attacks can take many forms. Even with a crossbow it seems.
In a startling incident in Belgrade, Serbia, a police officer was injured in a crossbow attack near the Israeli embassy. The attacker, identified as Milos Zujovic, a Serbian national and recent Muslim convert, targeted the officer, Milos Jevremovic, who was guarding the embassy. The attacker, approaching under the guise of inquiring about a museum, launched the assault by firing a crossbow from close range, hitting Jevremovic in the neck. Despite his injuries, Jevremovic managed to return fire, fatally wounding Zujovic.

The Serbian Interior Minister, Ivica Dacic, labeled the attack as terrorist in nature, noting that Zujovic had converted to Islam and adopted the name Salahudin. Following the incident, the Serbian authorities raised the national threat level and initiated increased security measures, including greater police presence and searches of locations where further plotting is suspected.
Special prosecutors have taken over the investigation, affirming the act as terrorism. This has led to increased scrutiny and several arrests related to the case. Among those arrested is Igor Despotovic, who allegedly had close communications with Zujovic and had previous arrests related to online extremist activities.
