The United States has played the role of antagonist in the Middle East ever since Biden was installed into the White House. We have paid hundreds of millions to the terrorists of the Palestinian Authority. We have given hundreds of millions in support to Hamas in the fight against Israel. And of course, we all know we pay the other side with billions of dollars every year. Such is the absolute insanity pf AMerican foreign policy under the Democrat Party and Joe Biden
In a whirlwind of legal drama, a U.S. nonprofit stands accused of unwittingly channeling support to Hamas through its operations, sparking a lawsuit from an Israeli hostage. The case, lodged in the Western District of Washington, scrutinizes the tax-exempt status of People Media Project and its ties to The Palestine Chronicle.
Amlog Meir Jan, one of four Israeli hostages freed by the Israeli Defense Forces in June, claims the nonprofit indirectly backed his captor, Hamas operative Abdallah Aljamal. Represented by Mark Goldfelder of the National Jewish Advocacy Center, Jan alleges The Palestine Chronicle employed Aljamal, providing him a platform to spread Hamas propaganda—essentially funded by American taxpayers.

The lawsuit challenges the nonprofit’s 501(c)(3) status, arguing its operations have remained obscure since its tax-exempt filing in 2012, thereby facilitating terrorist support. This legal action intensifies criticism of President Joe Biden’s administration for failing to secure the release of eight American hostages reportedly still held by Hamas.
The legal complaint describes how, post-Hamas attacks on October 7, Aljamal allegedly used The Palestine Chronicle to whitewash Hamas’s actions and garner international backing. Goldfelder’s letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and other officials demands a thorough investigation, highlighting severe penalties for knowingly supporting terrorism.
Congressman Mike Lawler (R-NY) has joined the fray, urging the revocation of the nonprofit’s tax-exempt status. Lawler expressed his dismay over a journalist’s involvement in hostage situations and emphasized the need to prevent U.S. taxpayer dollars from indirectly aiding terrorism.

Compounding the controversy, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines revealed that recent pro-Hamas protests in the U.S. had, in some instances, received financial backing from Iran. Haines warned of foreign actors exploiting American democratic processes and urged vigilance among citizens engaging with unfamiliar online entities.
