Bangkok police chief Lt. Gen. Thiti Sangsawang identified the deceased as two Vietnamese Americans and four Vietnamese nationals, consisting of three men and three women. The bodies were discovered in various locations within the suite—four in the living room and two in the bedroom, with two appearing to have desperately tried to reach the door before collapsing.
Deputy police chief Noppasin Punsawat elaborated, noting that the victims ranged in age from 37 to 56. He emphasized that this tragic case seemed personal and should not affect tourist safety. The last sighting of the group alive was when food was delivered to their room on Monday afternoon.
A very Thai Murder?
No chance we ever understand it w/o Agatha Christie!

A potential motive surfaced as Punsawat revealed that among the deceased were a husband and wife who had invested about 10 million baht ($278,000) with two of the other victims. This money was reportedly earmarked for a hospital project in Japan, and the meeting may have been to settle the financial dispute. Authorities suspect that one individual killed the others, although which of the six was responsible remains undisclosed.
