How childish can the North Koreans get? This childish.
North Korea on Sunday floated balloons carrying trash toward South Korea, prompting South Korea’s military to announce it would respond with “full-scale” loudspeaker broadcasts.
South Korea’s military condemned the North’s actions as dangerous, warning of potentially fatal consequences and holding the North Korean regime responsible for any escalation.

“As we warned several times, the military will carry out loudspeaker broadcasts in full scale and on all fronts starting 1 p.m. today,” stated the South’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, calling the North’s balloon launches vulgar and shameful.
For years, activists and defectors in South Korea have launched their own balloons carrying propaganda leaflets and other items into North Korea, which has infuriated Pyongyang.
In response to the North’s balloon launches, South Korea’s military decided earlier this week to resume its round-the-clock loudspeaker broadcast campaign targeting North Korea. These broadcasts, considered an effective form of psychological warfare, blare propaganda, world news, and K-pop music.
