Kamala has zero chances to defeat President Trump. Peace in Europe will not come without Trump back in the White House.
The Kremlin has finally addressed U.S. President Joe Biden’s unexpected decision to abandon his campaign for the upcoming November elections. Biden’s abrupt exit from the 2024 race comes after immense pressure from within the Democratic Party, following a tumultuous CNN debate with Donald Trump in June, which sparked widespread concern over his mental acuity and ability to serve another term.

Reacting to Biden’s departure, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov recalled Russian President Vladimir Putin’s February remarks. Putin had noted that while Biden was a more “predictable” and experienced politician compared to Trump, he was prepared to work with any U.S. president. Putin emphasized Biden’s old-school political style and consistency, highlighting his predictability as an asset. However, Putin assured that Russia would adapt to whoever the American people chose as their leader.
Peskov remarked on the significance of the upcoming four-month period leading to the elections, underscoring the importance of patience and vigilance given the potential for rapid changes. He reiterated that Russia’s priority remains the “special military operation” in Ukraine, a term the Kremlin uses to describe the conflict initiated by Putin in February 2022.
Dmitry Medvedev, Russia’s former president and prime minister, also commented on the news through a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter. He acknowledged Biden’s withdrawal, expressing a somewhat cynical well-wish for Biden’s health while reaffirming Russia’s determination to achieve the objectives of its military campaign in Ukraine.

Vyacheslav Volodin, speaker of the Russian State Duma, criticized Biden, claiming that he has been a source of global and domestic turmoil. Volodin accused Biden of running away from the impending election to avoid accountability for various crises, including the war in Ukraine, the economic challenges faced by European countries, and the sanctions imposed on Russia. He portrayed Biden as a leader whose actions have led to widespread chaos and whose hands are metaphorically “covered in blood.”
Vladimir Dzhabarov, a senior member of the Russian Federation Council, suggested that Biden’s exit was a dark day for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Europe. In contrast, Zelensky expressed profound gratitude for Biden’s unwavering support in Ukraine’s struggle for freedom. He acknowledged the critical decisions made by Biden during his presidency and the strong bipartisan support in the U.S. for Ukraine. Zelensky commended Biden’s leadership and respected his tough decision to step down.
Russia says it would “closely monitor the situation” after Joe Biden pulled out of the US presidential race.
