Looking at today’s testimony by the Severt Service Director, and we now have zero hopes for any investigation, as the SS is not sharing any information. Obstruction is the name of the game, and all of this while the second shooter is still out there, hunting for Trump.
U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle has voiced her strong support for an independent security review following the recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. This move comes in response to the alarming incident that took place on July 13 in Butler, prompting a call for thorough scrutiny and improvements.
Secret Service DIDN’T warn me before the assassination attempt, even though the shooter was spotted well before I got onstage. This should never have happened, Mayorkas and Director Cheatle have a lot of explaining to do! pic.twitter.com/PItMARHMH5

“We are eager to cooperate with the independent security review of the U.S. Secret Service’s action related to the July 13 assassination attempt of former President Trump in Butler,” Cheatle stated in a press release on Sunday. “I look forward to the panel examining what happened and providing recommendations to help ensure it will never happen again.”
Cheatle emphasized the agency’s supposed commitment to conducting an internal review and collaborating transparently with other investigations, including those by Congress, the FBI, and the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General. “The U.S. Secret Service has a no-fail mission, and I will take every necessary step to ensure the safety and security of our protectees – that the U.S. Secret Service emerges from this stronger,” she added.
The independent review panel will consist of four distinguished members: Frances Townsend, former Homeland Security adviser under President George W. Bush; Mark Filip, a former federal judge during the Bush administration; David Mitchell, former superintendent of Maryland State Police; and Janet Napolitano, former DHS secretary. These experts have been tasked with a 45-day deadline to scrutinize the Secret Service’s policies and procedures before and after the attempt on Trump’s life by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.

We must all work together to ensure events like July 13 do not happen again.”
This independent review aims to delve deep into the circumstances surrounding the assassination attempt, identifying any lapses or weaknesses in the current security protocols. The findings and recommendations from this panel are expected to lead to significant reforms within the Secret Service, fortifying their operations and ensuring the utmost protection for all individuals under their care.
