In a statement provided to Variety by his representative, MrBeast acknowledged the comments, explaining that they were made when he was younger and attempting to be humorous. Sorry, 400 is just out of my price range for that type of thing.” Additionally, he is heard using a homophobic slur during the livestream. The clip also features MrBeast asking his audience to stop using the N-word after it appeared in the chat multiple times.
