Two Jewish students at the University of Pittsburgh suffered injuries after an attack involving a glass bottle near the university’s Cathedral of Learning, according to an official announcement from the institution. Authorities reported that the assailant, who wore a kaffiyeh—a checkered scarf often associated with Palestinian solidarity—had no ties to the university and was promptly detained by the university police.
