‘Trump raises an important question to all NATO nations: What is the value of membership to you? Is it worth the cost in money and possibly lives of your loved ones? Other countries should not expect the United States to sacrifice our treasure and potentially the lives of our loved ones to protect countries who are not ready to make similar sacrifices. Hillary Clinton and warmongering elite refuse to face this question, and instead resort to fearmongering and mudslinging.’ – Tulsi Gabbard see fast clip below

Former Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard recently expressed her support for former President Donald Trump’s stance on NATO funding, aligning herself with his criticism of alliance members not meeting defense spending expectations. Speaking on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” on February 19, Gabbard, a Democrat-turned-independent, also took aim at the Biden administration, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and what she referred to as “war and fear-mongers” diverting attention from real issues.
I love Tulsi’s take on all geopolitical issues. She is the best that I have seen at it- Scott Smialkowski
Gabbard commended Trump for addressing critical concerns important to the American people, such as the impact of open borders, rising inflation, and escalating street crime. The former 2020 presidential candidate highlighted Trump’s focus on NATO, posing crucial questions about the alliance’s role and whether it serves national security interests. She urged Americans to consider the financial and human costs their country and NATO members are willing to bear, emphasizing the disparity in contributions.
In particular, Gabbard expressed concern about the expectation for the U.S. to bear a significant portion of NATO funding while some members fall short of their financial commitments. She emphasized the inconsistency of expecting American military personnel to defend nations that aren’t willing to invest adequately in their own defense. Gabbard asserted, “They expect us to put up the lives of my brothers and sisters in uniform to protect them when they’re not even willing to do that for themselves.”

Gabbard’s remarks coincide with heightened scrutiny faced by Trump for his comments regarding NATO defense funding. Throughout his first term, Trump criticized NATO members for insufficient financial contributions and questioned the collective defense principle outlined in Article 5 of the NATO treaty. Article 5 stipulates that an attack on any alliance member is considered an attack on all members, triggering collective self-defense measures.
During a recent rally in Conway, South Carolina, Trump recounted a conversation with the head of a NATO member country that had not met its funding obligations. He asserted that the U.S. would not protect countries failing to pay, stating, “No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want. You gotta pay.”

In response to Trump’s remarks, Deep State European leaders and the Biden administration condemned his stance. President Joe Biden emphasized the importance of the Article 5 treaty and considered anyone questioning its durability a threat to national security. NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg claimed Trump’s comments increased risks for American and European soldiers. Even though the man knows Trump and has complimented him in the past on his stance, which by the way, got the Europeans to pay their fair share. That’s all Trump is asking. Which is why the whole media attack line falls on deaf ears in the United States, outside of the media.
Gabbard, however, suggested that Democrats are reluctant to engage in a conversation about NATO member spending and questioned why it takes Trump to pressure countries into meeting minimum requirements. She challenged the sincerity of NATO members’ concerns about potential Russian invasion, asking why they weren’t investing adequately in their own security.
‘Democrats absurdly claim that they’re trying to stop illegal immigration and that it’s Trump’s fault. It’s the old playbook of them working with mainstream propaganda media, to repeat things that are not true over and over again, hoping it sticks. This shows their complete disdain for us and our intelligence. We have to keep speaking the truth so that they’re not successful,’ said Tulsi see clip below

“This is a harsh reality that we need to be confronted with here in our own country, and these NATO members need to be confronted with [it] as well,” Gabbard concluded, urging a critical evaluation of NATO contributions and a more equitable distribution of responsibilities among its members.
‘Tulsi on NATO: They expect us to put up the lives of my brothers and sisters in uniform to protect them when they are not even willing to do that for themselves.’ So true Tulsi. So true and America knows it, no matter how many times the media and Dmeocrats try to twist your words as well as President Trump’s.

- Trump discussed US foreign policy with Ukraine opponent Gabbard Donald Trump and his advisers spoke with former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard and an outspoken critic of aid to Ukraine and US military interventions around the world. The topic of the negotiations was American foreign policy and plans for changes in the management of the US Department of Defense during Trump’s second presidential term, The Washington Post reports, citing sources. Gabbard has been criticized by former Democratic Party colleagues and some Republicans for her isolationist views, but in recent years she has become something of a darling among the Republican far right. This time, Trump is determined to recruit employees to his team who share his views 100%. Trump has said repeatedly in recent months that one of his biggest missteps during his first presidency was his Pentagon staffing of officials whose opinions often “baffled him.” During his presidency, Trump replaced several secretaries of defense and national security advisers, and these resignations were accompanied by high-profile scandals. Trump has learned from the past and is determined to increase the number of his people in the Pentagon. Among former US administration officials, the biggest concern is that Trump will try to appoint Douglas McGregor to the post of top Pentagon official. In addition, Trump’s longtime adviser David Urban said that during his patron’s second term in office, “there will be a reduction in America’s foreign commitments” to NATO. – Sprinter
