    • Donald Trump’s legal team has requested Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to provide further testimony due to new evidence, regarding her disqualification from Trump’s case.
    • The request follows a series of hearings last week by Judge Scott McAfee to decide if Willis and her office should be disqualified over her relationship with an individual named Wade.
    • Trump and some co-defendants have pushed for Willis’ office’s removal and the case’s dismissal, citing a conflict of interest.
    • Willis and Wade maintain their relationship began in spring 2022, post-employment, without financial benefits for either party.
    • On Friday, Trump’s lawyers submitted additional evidence to McAfee, including an affidavit from investigator Charles Mittelstadt, analyzing Wade’s cellphone data. This data suggested Wade visited Willis’ home overnight on two occasions in 2021.
    • In a Sunday filing, Trump’s lawyers contested Willis’ previous claims by highlighting the ambiguity of Wade’s overnight visits to Willis’ residence, suggesting that only Willis and Wade could clarify the nature of those visits.

    The legal showdown in the high-profile case against former President Donald Trump in Georgia has taken a contentious turn, with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis objecting to cellphone records submitted by Trump’s legal team as potential evidence. The records, presented by attorneys Steve Sadow and Jennifer Little, suggest that Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade may have misled the court about the timeline of their romantic relationship.

    Willis’s objection, filed on February 23, seeks to prevent the inclusion of these cellphone records, which Trump’s lawyers argue support their claim that Willis hired her then-boyfriend for mutual financial gain in a corrupt bargain, thus warranting her disqualification from the case.

    The key element of the dispute revolves around an affidavit from private investigator Charles Mittelstadt, hired by Trump’s legal team to obtain text and call history between Wade and Willis. According to Mittelstadt, the investigative findings reveal over 2,000 calls and 12,000 text messages exchanged in 2021, months before the duo claims their relationship began.

    The contested data purportedly places Wade at Willis’s condominium during late-night hours on multiple occasions in September and November 2021, contradicting the pair’s assertion that their romantic involvement commenced in early 2022 after Willis appointed Wade as special prosecutor for the Trump case.

    Former President Trump has seized on the cellphone records, contending on social media that they prove Willis and Wade lied, demanding the case be dismissed. Trump argues that a pre-existing relationship before the trial undermines the legitimacy of the proceedings.

    In response, Willis vehemently opposed the new evidence, asserting that it fails to establish anything relevant and should be dismissed on legal, technical, and procedural grounds. She argues that the records are inadmissible due to technical and procedural reasons, claiming the evidence includes unqualified opinion statements and telephone records not formally admitted.

    The crux of the dispute lies in the allegations that Willis and Wade may have misrepresented the timeline of their relationship. Trump’s defense alleges a romantic involvement dating back to 2019, insinuating financial motives for Willis to hire Wade for the Trump prosecution. Both parties deny any financial impropriety, insisting their relationship began in 2022, well after Wade was appointed.

    The contested evidence suggests that Wade visited Willis’s residence numerous times before the claimed relationship start date. Phone records allegedly place him at the condominium during specific dates in September and November 2021. Willis, in her filing, challenges the admissibility of the evidence, citing procedural irregularities, lack of notice, and potential legal deficiencies.

    President Trump, in his social media posts, doubles down on the argument that the evidence exposes Willis’s alleged deception, calling for her disqualification. He contends that the case is an orchestrated effort to undermine his political comeback in 2024.

    Judge Scott McAfee has scheduled final arguments for March 1, focusing on whether Willis should be disqualified due to the alleged corrupt bargain surrounding her relationship with Wade. The judge emphasizes the need to demonstrate an actual financial benefit derived from the relationship for disqualification to be considered.

    Willis, in her latest filing, dismisses the scrutiny of her relationship with Wade as an attempt to generate sensational headlines, portraying it as a distraction from the core legal issues at hand. As the legal battle intensifies, the court awaits a thorough examination of the disputed evidence and arguments on March 1.

    Now knowing all of the above, you’d think a real Republican governor out for justice would put an end to it all.  But not Kemp. Deep State Kemp is no friend of Trump, and even for the 2020 election, he still will not let anyone even see a warehouse full of pristine ballots that were never folded, but all mailed and counted for Biden.  So in other words, Kemp has an interest in hurting Trump as much as possible.  This is what we are up against come November. Can Trump win Georgia even with yet another landslide of votes like 2020, or will games be played at 3:30 am in Fulton County and others?
