“So what we’re saying is we don’t have concrete data, unfortunately, because far too often, these accusations have been made, and nothing’s ever been done about it. And now we have a proposed leader to actually do something about voter integrity. The problem is that despite all of this attention to this issue, the Democrats, that we serve with here in Hartford have failed to take the issue seriously enough and put the proper protocols and policies in place to fix it. Instead, they prefer to gaslight the public. They prefer to gaslight the press into suggesting that somehow this bill that they’ve offered in the GA committee that we just passed out of the committee the other day, is gonna solve the problem. And I don’t wanna come across as we’re not supportive of that legislation. I think it does some good things, but it just does not go far enough”
