Iran has their terror group attacking shipping all over the area. Will America ever respond to Iran directly? Is that all part of the plan?
On a recent Saturday, the crew of a merchant vessel attacked by Iran-backed Houthi rebels in the Red Sea were airlifted to safety by the Dwight D. Eisenhower carrier strike group, according to U.S. officials. The vessel, the Liberian-flagged and Greek-owned M/V Tutor, suffered an attack from a Houthi unmanned surface vessel while traversing the Red Sea, leading to significant flooding and engine room damage.

In response to the emergency, the crew was forced to abandon the Tutor. They were subsequently rescued by the USS Philippine Sea along with allied forces. Despite ongoing damage and the Tutor still taking on water in the Red Sea, a rescue operation involving Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 74 was conducted. This operation successfully airlifted 24 civilian mariners from the Tutor to the USS Philippine Sea.
The rescued mariners were then transferred via helicopters from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 7 to the USS Eisenhower, where they underwent medical evaluations. Following this, they were flown ashore for further medical attention.
Amid these efforts, Capt. Steven Liberty, commanding officer of the Philippine Sea, highlighted the commitment of his crew to ensuring the safety of life at sea, despite the threats posed by the Houthi attacks. Additionally, another mariner who was injured in a separate attack on a different merchant vessel in the Gulf of Aden was also medically evacuated by aircraft from the USS Philippine Sea.

The series of Houthi attacks did not end with the Tutor. On the following day, one sailor from the Tutor was reported missing and the ship was observed to be still on fire and sinking. Efforts to locate the missing Filipino sailor, most of whose colleagues are also from the Philippines, were ongoing as stated by Philippine officials.
These events occurred in the context of intensified U.S. military responses to the Houthi threat, which included the targeting of radar installations used by the Houthis to coordinate attacks against maritime targets. These installations enable the rebels to threaten commercial shipping routes that are crucial for global trade.
The U.S. military efforts have been robust, with strikes destroying several Houthi-operated radars and unmanned drone boats in the Red Sea, along with a drone over the waterway. These strikes aim to disrupt the capabilities of the Houthis, who have controlled Yemen’s capital since 2014 and have continued their military activities despite international criticism.
The impact of the Houthi assaults extends beyond the immediate threats to shipping. The rebels claim their actions support Palestinians in Gaza, yet their attacks predominantly affect third-country nationals and disrupt international trade routes, complicating humanitarian efforts in both Yemen and Gaza.

The conflict has continued to escalate with further incidents reported, including two explosions near another vessel in the Red Sea, which fortunately resulted in no casualties. Iran is behind it all. The entire world knows this. Iran finances these animals (With American billions given to them by Biden), and Iran arms them (with the billions of US taxpayer dollars from Biden to buy the weapons). Which means the world knows what’s up in every way. America is playing all sides. Just like in Israel where we give Hamas billions to kill Jews. We give the Palestinian Authority a recent 600 million so they can pay their Martyr families, families that have someone kill Jews, and then get a monthly income. America is paying the terrorists indirectly in each case. Something President Trump put atop to. But the regime in charge now does all it can to foster hate and murder around the globe. We need Trump ASAP
Major Points:

- Rescue operations involved airlifting 24 crew members to the USS Philippine Sea, followed by transfer to the USS Eisenhower for medical evaluations.
- In response to ongoing Houthi threats, the U.S. military targeted and destroyed Houthi radar installations and drone boats in the Red Sea to protect vital maritime routes.
