Hated by the globalists in the EU and the U.S., Hungary looks after their own people, which they cannot allow. Hungary insists on not having terrorists and mass migrants enter their nation to rape, murder and destroy, as German and France allow. For this, Hungary is called extremist, while the know-nothings of the EU cast blame and attacks. More and more people are waking up to it all.
Hungary has unveiled the slogan “Make Europe Great Again” for its upcoming six-month presidency of the Council of the EU. This slogan, reminiscent of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, marks the first EU presidency inspired by Trump. During this period, Hungarian diplomats will chair significant meetings in Brussels and influence the political agenda of the bloc.

Hungarian EU Affairs Minister János Bóka explained that the slogan signifies an active presidency, emphasizing collective strength while maintaining individual identity. He suggested that Europe should strive to become an independent global actor in the changing world. When questioned about the slogan’s similarity to Trump’s, Bóka downplayed any direct connection, stating that Trump never explicitly aimed to make Europe great.

Accompanying the slogan, Hungary introduced the Rubik’s cube as its logo, symbolizing Hungarian ingenuity. Minister Bóka outlined Hungary’s priorities for its presidency, including the introduction of a competitive, farmer-centered agricultural policy, improved protection of external borders, addressing the root causes of migration, and enhancing return policies.
Additionally, Hungary aims to drive forward the EU’s enlargement process, with significant steps concerning Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine. There are concerns, however, that Hungary might obstruct Kyiv’s EU candidacy, given Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s efforts to undermine relations with Ukraine and foster closer ties with Moscow.

The rotating presidency of the Council of the EU typically requires the holder to act as a neutral broker, setting aside national interests to facilitate the passage of legislation. However, there are apprehensions among European politicians that Budapest might leverage its high-profile position to advance its agenda and reverse key policy areas.
Hungary’s EU presidency, set to begin amid Trump’s campaign for a potential return to the White House, promises to be a period of significant political maneuvering and potential controversy within the European Union. The slogan “Make Europe Great Again” underscores Hungary’s intention to leave a substantial mark on the EU’s political landscape during its presidency.
