Justin Timberlake has been arrested for driving while intoxicated or impaired in Long Island, New York. A representative for the Sag Harbor Police Department confirmed that the musician was in police custody as of the morning of June 18. The “Selfish” hitmaker, 43, was arrested on DWI charges after having dinner at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor. He was pulled over while driving to a friend’s house.
“Nobody was hurt,” a source said, adding that Timberlake was to be arraigned shortly. He faces one count of DWI and two citations for running a stop sign and failure to keep in lane. The police released a statement detailing the incident, stating that Timberlake was observed operating a 2025 BMW southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a stop sign and failing to maintain his lane. A traffic stop revealed that Timberlake was intoxicated. He was arrested, processed, and held overnight for a morning arraignment. Timberlake was arraigned at the Sag Harbor Village Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court for a hearing on July 26.
