The war seems to be at the point where it is set to explode further. Russian forces are massing in great number according to Colonel Macgregor. And now waves of missiles rain down on Ukraine, and President Biden keeps coming up with the nonsense of hundreds more millions of dollars to rebuild the Ukrainian infrastructure. This while the war still rages. If this is not a sign of dementia, I do not know what is. To the war…
Russia escalated its assault on Ukraine with a new wave of missile and drone attacks targeting the country’s energy infrastructure, as reported by officials in Kyiv on Saturday. This latest offensive marks the eighth significant attack in a series targeting energy facilities, involving 16 missiles and 13 Shahed drones. Despite these efforts, Ukraine’s air defenses managed to intercept 12 of the missiles and all the drones.

The attacks primarily affected energy facilities in the southeastern Zaporizhzhia region and the western Lviv region, causing damage to equipment and injuring at least two energy workers in Zaporizhzhia due to a fire at one of the facilities. These strikes come amidst ongoing Russian efforts that began three months ago, which have already reduced Ukraine’s power generation capacity by half. The country is now experiencing rolling blackouts as a result.
The conflict, stretching into its third year, has seen no significant changes along the 1,000-kilometer (600-mile) frontline. Recent attempts by Russian forces to advance in eastern and northeastern Ukraine have only achieved minimal territorial gains. Both Russia and Ukraine continue to target each other’s infrastructure in an attempt to weaken the opposing side’s war efforts.

In response to the attacks in Ukraine, Ukrainian forces conducted strikes on three oil refineries in southern Russia. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defenses had shot down five drones over the Sea of Azov and in the western regions of Bryansk and Smolensk. Additionally, regional authorities reported casualties from these exchanges, including the death of a man in the Belgorod region due to shelling, which borders Ukraine.
The ongoing conflict also saw casualties in the Donetsk region, where local officials reported the deaths of five individuals and injuries to seven others due to Russian attacks. In the Russia-controlled parts of Donetsk, authorities installed by Moscow stated that Ukrainian shelling had killed three people and wounded four others on Saturday morning.

President Biden and the Democrats, along with their Deep State masters and the RINOS all want this war to continue to the last Ukrainian. If they have their way, it is only a matter of time before the Ukrainian dictator Zelensky soon announces massive immigration, as soon as peace begins. Watch for it. Or at least let’s hope peace comes soon.
Major Points:
- Russia intensified its assault on Ukraine with a new barrage of missiles and drones, targeting energy infrastructure in the southeast and west, injuring at least two workers.
- Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted 12 out of 16 missiles and all 13 drones during the attack.
- The attacks caused significant damage to energy facilities in the Zaporizhzhia and Lviv regions, contributing to ongoing rolling blackouts across Ukraine.
- In retaliation, Ukrainian forces struck three oil refineries in southern Russia, leading to further casualties and damage in the region.
- The conflict remains largely stagnant along the 1,000-kilometer frontline, with both sides suffering casualties and continuing to target each other’s infrastructure.
