In related developments, the European Union implemented its 14th set of sanctions against Russia due to its ongoing aggression in Ukraine. This latest round prohibits the transshipment of Russian liquefied natural gas through EU countries and targets 116 individuals and entities with additional restrictions aimed at preventing sanction evasion.
During a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba highlighted the critical nature of the sanctions in crippling Russia’s war-funding capabilities and called for accelerated military support, particularly in air defense, to combat Russian aggression.
