The Left and their Climate crew have yet another fake story to play with. For decades they have spoken about melting ice, and yet STILL NOTHING. These people just play for the headlines and research grants and base it all on nothing.

This discovery centers on the impact of warm seawater circulating beneath ground-based ice sheets, which was previously understood but is now seen as a more immediate threat due to its ability to rapidly increase melting. It’s not actually happening, just that the models say it can. Models that have always been wrong, and not just by a few percentages. I mean 100% wrong.

The study focuses on the process where seawater infiltrates the space between the land and the overlying ice sheets resting on it. This infiltration causes localized melting, which then lubricates the ice bed, accelerating the ice’s movement towards the sea. Alex Bradley, the lead author of the study and an ice dynamics researcher at BAS, described the findings as demonstrating a “tipping point-like behavior.” According to Bradley, even minor changes in ocean temperature could trigger significant increases in melting at these grounding zones, potentially leading to substantial changes in ice flow dynamics.
Historically, Antarctica’s ice was considered relatively stable, especially when compared to the Arctic. From 1978 to 2015, while Arctic ice consistently diminished, Antarctic sea ice seemed to increase slowly. However, this trend has reversed dramatically in recent years. After reaching a record low in 2017, Antarctic sea ice levels have remained alarmingly low, with 2023 marking a new record low.

Or as we like to say Blah, blah, blah blah and blah. I think we’ve all had enough of these ‘models’ that have proven wrong for decades. Still, to date, the hottest period recently was the 1930s. But the Left doesn’t want you to know that.
