We all know how North Korea plays their propaganda games. South Korea watches their every move like a hawk. Nothing gets past the South. It seems that Little Kim is lying again.
Recently, South Korea’s military showcased video evidence to counter North Korea’s assertion of a successful missile test. Captured by thermal imaging cameras with South Korean frontline units, the footage reveals a missile losing control shortly after launch, following an erratic trajectory before disintegrating mid-air.

The South Korean military evaluated the incident, concluding that “instability during flight” was the cause of the missile’s premature explosion. They released a statement dismissing North Korea’s claims as an attempt to mask a failed test with deceptive and exaggerated success narratives.
Contrasting with these observations, North Korean media previously announced a successful test on Wednesday. They claimed it was a significant step in the development of missiles capable of carrying multiple warheads. According to the state-run KCNA news agency, this involved utilizing a solid-fuel intermediate-range ballistic missile’s first-stage engine to test warhead separation and guidance systems.

The launch was detected by South Korea early Wednesday, with military personnel monitoring as the missile took flight. This disclosure comes amid North Korea’s ongoing endeavors to enhance its missile technology. Earlier in April, North Korea reported testing a new solid-fuel hypersonic missile that purportedly has an intermediate range. This development is part of a broader ambition to advance a new generation of long-range missiles, which are designed to be more challenging to detect and intercept.
