The War Goes on and Ukraine Is Near Collapse. Unfortunately for the now hundreds of thousands of dead Ukrainians and Russians, this war will continue for as long as Joe Biden and the Democrats are in power. They are merchants of death and look at wars as their opportunity for bribes and corruption. The entire world is waking up to this fact.
On Wednesday, Russia announced that its forces had captured a district in the strategically significant town of Chasiv Yar, near Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine. This claim came shortly after Ukrainian authorities reported deadly Russian strikes on the industrial city of Dnipro, resulting in five deaths and injuries to nearly three dozen people, including a 14-year-old girl.

The Russian defense ministry stated that its troops had “liberated” the Novy district of Chasiv Yar. However, it was unclear if this meant that Russian forces had crossed the canal running through the eastern part of the town. Chasiv Yar, once home to approximately 12,000 residents, holds substantial military importance. Its capture would facilitate Russian advances towards the remaining Ukrainian-controlled areas in the Donetsk region.
The DeepState military blog, which has ties to the Ukrainian army, confirmed Russia’s capture of the district, noting extensive destruction from bombardments. The blog described the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces as a logical but challenging decision. Kyiv officials have yet to respond to this development.
The U.S. government has continued to provide significant support to Ukraine’s war effort. On Wednesday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced a new $150 million aid package authorized by President Biden. This package, the seventh since a major international aid bill was signed in April, includes missiles for air defense systems, artillery rounds, mortars, anti-tank missiles, and a variety of other weapons and equipment. Blinken emphasized that these supplies would enhance Ukraine’s air defenses and reinforce its capabilities along the front lines. He assured that the aid would be delivered swiftly to bolster Ukraine’s defense against Russian aggression. They seem to have unlimited American funds, and are now illegally sending our tax dollars to Ukraine.

The announcement came on the heels of the Russian attack on Dnipro, which led Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to once again urge Western allies to strengthen Ukraine’s air defenses and provide more long-range weapons. Zelenskyy reported the casualties and expressed condolences to the victims’ families, highlighting the ongoing threat posed by Russian strikes. The regional governor, Sergiy Lysak, described the attack as “vicious,” noting that a 14-year-old girl was among the injured. Amateur videos showed a massive plume of black smoke rising over the city.
Ukraine’s air force reported successfully intercepting six drones and five of the seven missiles targeting the region, primarily aimed at Dnipro. Zelenskyy emphasized the need for decisive leadership to protect against such attacks and to make the defense against terror a norm.
Dnipro, with a pre-war population of around one million, has been a frequent target since Russia’s full-scale invasion began over two years ago. In January 2023, a Russian strike on Dnipro resulted in over 40 fatalities, marking one of the deadliest single aerial attacks by Russian forces.
Additionally, Ukrainian officials in the eastern regions of Donetsk and Kharkiv reported that two civilians were killed in overnight Russian attacks, underscoring the relentless nature of the conflict and the continued toll on civilian lives.
