Crossbow Killer
In the aftermath of a harrowing overnight manhunt, British police on Wednesday afternoon apprehended the man suspected of brutally killing three women, all relatives of a BBC commentator, in a chilling attack that involved a crossbow.
On Tuesday evening, Hertfordshire police were urgently summoned to a property in Bushey, located more than an hour northwest of London. At a Wednesday morning press conference, a police spokesperson detailed the gruesome discovery: upon arrival, officers found three women grievously injured. Despite the immediate administration of emergency aid, the women, aged 61, 28, and 25, succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

The BBC identified the victims as Carol Hunt, the wife of BBC Racing radio commentator John Hunt, and their two daughters.
As the sun rose on Wednesday, police were in a frantic search for Kyle Clifford, 26, in connection with the heinous killings. The authorities labeled the triple murder a “targeted incident” involving a crossbow, though they indicated that other weapons might have been used in the attack.

By Wednesday afternoon, the intense manhunt led police to North London, where Clifford was found. According to a news release, he was discovered with injuries, but notably, no shots were fired by the officers during the apprehension. Clifford is now receiving medical treatment.

Investigators believe there was a connection between the victims and Clifford, suggesting they knew each other.
Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins, speaking in the release, confirmed, “Following extensive enquiries, the suspect has been located and nobody else is being sought in connection with the investigation at this time.”
