Sikking’s career spanned over six decades, and he became best known for his portrayal of Lt. Howard Hunter on “Hill Street Blues.” From 1981 to 1987, he captivated audiences as the leader of the precinct’s Emergency Action Team. His performance earned him critical acclaim and an Emmy nomination.
