Relationships can be filled with joy, or horror. Here’s a celebrity marriage that went the wrong way.
A Tennessee judge has ruled that Billy Ray Cyrus’ estranged wife, Firerose, can no longer use his credit cards. In June, Cyrus, 62, requested an emergency restraining order to prevent Firerose from utilizing his cards, accusing her of charging $96,986.05 between May 23 and June 7. The judge granted Cyrus’ emergency motion, finding “no legitimate reason” for Firerose to have access to the cards.

The court documents, obtained by People, also required the “Old Town Road” singer and Firerose, 37, to exchange income, expense, asset, and liability statements by July 11. Additionally, the judge mandated that the pair engage in “good faith mediation” by August 31. Cyrus has requested that Firerose repay him the full amount charged.
Firerose argued that she has had access to several of Cyrus’ cards since they moved in together in 2022 and was never subject to any spending limit. She contends that she should be able to use their marital funds while they are still legally married to support her lifestyle. Furthermore, she claimed that $45,000 of the disputed charges were mistakenly billed by her law firm and have already been refunded.

A source close to Firerose told Page Six that Cyrus had previously accused her of fraud, which was proven false, suggesting that his allegations are part of a pattern of falsehoods. Cyrus filed for divorce from Firerose in late May after less than a year of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct. He also sought an annulment on the grounds of fraud. The couple married in October 2023, just under a year after getting engaged.
