Paul’s lead-hand jabs effectively thwarted Perry’s usual forward pressure. The referee ended the fight quickly after Perry was dropped in the sixth round, much to the delight of the crowd. Paul out-landed Perry 98-33, with 52 jabs frustrating Perry throughout the match.
“He’s tough as nails,” Paul said post-fight, referring to Perry’s resilience. Perry admitted he struggled to adjust to Paul’s speed, acknowledging the significant improvement since their previous sparring match.

Paul is now eyeing a massive fight with 58-year-old Mike Tyson, scheduled for November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Tyson is back in training, having postponed his return due to an ulcer flare-up in May.
