    Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Denied Secret Service Protection A Third Time. Does Biden Want Him Dead?

    In a recent development, it has been revealed that independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been denied United States Secret Service (USSS) protection for the third time, as reported by the Deseret News. The authenticity of this information was confirmed by Kennedy’s campaign on Friday, citing a letter that allegedly showed Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas rejecting Kennedy’s request.

    According to the letter obtained by Deseret News, Mayorkas stated that, “based on the facts” and the recommendation from the advisory committee, Kennedy did not warrant protection from the USSS. The advisory committee, composed of key political figures such as the Speaker of the House, the House Minority Leader, the Senate Majority Leader, the Senate Minority Leader, and the Senate Sergeant at Arms, played a crucial role in this decision-making process.

    Mayorkas reportedly wrote in the letter, “Based on the facts and the recommendation of the advisory committee, I have determined that Secret Service protection for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is not warranted at this time.”

    This marks the third denial of Secret Service protection for Kennedy since the launch of his presidential campaign. However, it’s essential to note that the Secret Service does not have the authority to determine who qualifies for protection. Federal law, as outlined on the 2024 USSS candidate protection page of the agency’s website, permits all “major” presidential candidates to be considered for protection.

    The criteria for candidacy were established in 2017 to guide the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the advisory committee in their decision-making process. Among the factors considered are whether the candidate has publicly announced their campaign, filed proper documentation, undergone a threat assessment, and is actively campaigning on a national level, according to the USSS.

    Notably, independent candidates must poll at “20% or more of the Real Clear Politics National Average for 30 consecutive days” to meet the requirements for protection. Despite Kennedy’s claims that he meets these criteria, the Biden administration has rejected his request for Secret Service protection three times.

    Kennedy argues that he not only qualifies for protection according to the established criteria but has also submitted a report from a security firm to the Biden administration, outlining perceived safety risks. The report allegedly highlighted incidents such as a man attempting to break into Kennedy’s home on two separate occasions. The individual was apprehended by Los Angeles police during his second attempted break-in in late October.

    In response to these developments, Kennedy is reportedly gearing up to submit a fourth request for protection, signaling his persistence in seeking the security measures he believes are warranted for his presidential campaign.
