Elise Stefanik is becoming more and more bold for MAGA as of late. Let’s hope this continues.
She was on Meet The Press, and impressed… “I have concerns about the treatment of January 6 hostages. We have a role in Congress of oversight over our treatment of prisoners, and I believe that we’re seeing the weaponization of the federal government against not just President Trump, but we’re seeing it against conservatives. We’re seeing it against Catholics, and that’s one of the reasons why I’m so proud to serve on the Select Committee on the Weaponization of the Government because the American people want answers. They want transparency. And they understand that as you look across this country, there seem to be two sets of rules: if your last name is Clinton or it’s Biden, you get to live by a different set of rules than if you’re an everyday, patriotic American.” See fast clip below

House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) expressed openness to the prospect of being former President Donald Trump’s running mate during an interview on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” on Sunday. The congresswoman was informed about President Trump’s remarks in September of the previous year, where he indicated his interest in having a female running mate. Given this, Stefanik was asked if she would consider the position if called upon. Continued below Elise’s statement…
My statement calling for the resignation of Secretary Austin: “It is shocking and absolutely unacceptable that the Department of Defense waited multiple days to notify the President, the National Security Council, and the American people that Defense Secretary Austin was hospitalized and unable to perform his duties. In the chain of command, the Secretary of Defense serves as the connection through which the President commands and controls our armed forces. At this dangerous time when American service members are under attack in Iraq and Syria, our closest partner and ally Israel is at war with Hamas terrorists, and the threat from Communist China is on the rise, it is critical that the Secretary of Defense has the full trust of the American people, Congress, and the White House. This concerning lack of transparency exemplifies a shocking lack of judgment and a significant national security threat. There must be full accountability beginning with the immediate resignation of Secretary Austin and those that lied for him and a Congressional investigation into this dangerous dereliction of duty.” – Elise Stefanik
“I would be honored to serve in any capacity in a Trump administration. I’m proud to be the first member of Congress to endorse his reelection. I’m a strong supporter of President Trump, and he’s going to win this November,” Stefanik responded.
When questioned about whether she had discussed the possibility with President Trump, Stefanik chose not to disclose details, stating, “I’m not going to get into the content of my conversation with President Trump. I talk to him frequently. We’ve been focused on winning.” She emphasized her role as the House Republican Conference chair and the representative for New York’s 21st Congressional District, highlighting the need to ensure President Trump’s strength in the upcoming general election.

Speculation in the media regarding potential female running mates for President Trump has included figures such as Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, former Trump White House press secretary and current Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem.
In December, former White House adviser Steve Bannon predicted that President Trump would choose a female candidate as his vice president. Bannon specifically mentioned Kristi Noem, describing her as competitive due to her understanding of the MAGA movement.

Donald Trump Jr., however, expressed opposition to Nikki Haley being his father’s running mate, citing concerns about her stance on wars and her ties to the Washington, D.C., establishment.
Great job Elise! I love how you called out Kristen Welker right to her face for using WH talking points and being the partisan Leftwing hack that she is. – RC
Pressed to clarify her stance, Stefanik reiterated her willingness to serve in the next Trump administration but emphasized her current responsibilities as the conference chair and representative for New York’s 21st District.
A USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll conducted from Dec. 26 to Dec. 29 revealed that 14 percent of surveyed Trump voters preferred Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as the former president’s running mate. Other candidates mentioned included biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Kristi Noem, and former Fox News personality Tucker Carlson.

According to Turning Point Action’s straw poll, conducted at the TPUSA conference in Phoenix from Dec. 17 to Dec. 18, young Republican voters favored either Tucker Carlson or Vivek Ramaswamy as President Trump’s running mate. The poll showed that 35 percent preferred Carlson, while 25.7 percent favored Ramaswamy.

As of Jan. 7, President Trump maintains a substantial lead in FiveThirtyEight’s GOP presidential primary poll average, with 61.8 percent support. Gov. Ron DeSantis follows with 12.1 percent, and Nikki Haley with 11.2 percent. The data indicates strong support for President Trump among Republicans as the primary season approaches.

- Elise Stefanik is taking heat because she refuses to commit to certifying the 2024 election if there is fraud. She said: “We will see if 2024 is a legal and valid election.” Good. That’s what we need our representatives to say. She is 100% right on this. You cannot certify a fraudulent election and it is a damn shame that the last Congress certified 2020. We need to stand up for our voting rights in this country – and no one has voting rights if our votes aren’t counted. – Joey Mannarino
