    In a significant development, a key moderate Republican lawmaker, Representative John James from Michigan, has voiced his support for impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. James, who represents a swing district won by former President Donald Trump by a narrow margin in 2020, not only advocates for impeachment but goes further, suggesting that Mayorkas should be tried for treason.

    The impeachment process was set in motion last week as the Homeland Security Committee held its inaugural hearing on the matter. Democrats dismiss the move as politically motivated, while Republicans place blame on Mayorkas for the escalating migrant crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, where encounters surpassed 300,000 in December, setting a new record.

    A future House floor vote on impeachment is expected to face staunch opposition from Democrats. To pass anything along party lines, House GOP leaders must rally their fractured conference and secure support from crucial moderates like James, especially under the constraint that they cannot afford to lose more than two votes.

    Unlike the Democrats, the Deep State has the Republicans divided when it comes to most issues. Through the clever use of donors, who are the movers and shakers behind the scenes in the Republican Party, it is the Left that rules the Republican Party on most issues. The Democrats can impeach even for ‘perfect phone calls’ as Trump would say. You would think over 100K dead Americans per month from illegal drugs, plus 300-500K illegals crossing the border per month, with terrorists, added together would be more than enough to impeach easily, But no…Republicans play the fools, always. Letting the Left run over them in all things.

    James, who was among over 60 House Republicans visiting the border earlier this month, emphasized the importance of border security. Despite supporting legal immigration, he highlighted the challenges faced by underfunded and underappreciated Border Patrol agents, drawing parallels to his own military experience.

    Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Michael McCaul, suggested that there may be enough support in the House to impeach Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas “by the end of this month,” according to reports. – Newsmax

    Speaking about the toll of human trafficking, particularly in the Del Rio sector, James expressed concern for those being exploited by smugglers. He said, “These are human beings we’re talking about—men, women, and children—God’s creatures, herded like cattle, bought and sold to the tune of $32 million per week.”

    Republicans attribute the border crisis to the Biden administration’s rollback of Trump-era policies. House conservatives are actively pushing for the reinstatement of these policies through their border security bill, H.R.2. Simultaneously, discussions are underway in the Senate, where Mayorkas has been engaged in efforts to formulate a bipartisan border security deal.  Which, we all know is a total joke on America. As He and Biden have repeatedly used all new resources to increase the numbers of illegals coming in.  They have zero intention of stopping the masses from coming over the border.

    In response to the impeachment push, a DHS spokesperson issued a memo “After decades of Congressional inaction on our broken immigration laws, Secretary Mayorkas and a bipartisan group of Senators are working hard to try and find real solutions to address these challenges.” The spokesperson criticized the House Majority for engaging in “baseless and pointless political attacks” through impeachment attempts, emphasizing the need for bipartisan cooperation to address the nation’s immigration issues.

    The memo also pointed out that some Republican lawmakers have fundraised off the Mayorkas impeachment push, and internal divisions within the GOP have led to dissenting voices labeling it as a futile endeavor. As the impeachment momentum builds, the broader implications for bipartisan collaboration on immigration policies remain uncertain, with both sides entrenched in their positions.

    The Republicans need new leadership, and to grow a spine for a change. President Trump has called it from the start.  Those who oppose impeachment are either under the direct control of the donors and Deep State, or Obama who is pulling the strings of the entire Biden Administration.
