    House Republicans Set to Subpoena Hunter Biden for Closed-Door Testimony Amidst Impeachment Inquiry

    Hunter Biden ran scared from me last week during a hearing to hold him in contempt. Hunter is desperate to cover up his involvement in Biden family corruption.     ‘Special counsel David Weiss wanted to indict Hunter Biden on charges of sex trafficking of a minor across state lines and child pornography based on materials found on his laptop but was overruled by AG Merrick Garland and the Biden DOJ. This is truly a banana republic.’ Says Joshua Hall. The Committees welcome Mr. Biden’s newfound willingness to testify in a deposition setting under subpoena. Our willingness to issue these subpoenas is rooted entirely in our interest in obtaining Hunter Biden’s testimony as expeditiously as possible. Rep Comer asked that we read a Washington Examiner article which explains the latest on it all.

It detailed how big tech, bad actors within the federal government, and the Intelligence Agencies colluded to sway public opinion leading up to the 2020 election. They hid critical information from the public regarding vaccine injuries, and Joe Biden being potentially compromised by foreign nations. Regular every day citizens were silenced online for speaking about these things, at the hands of the federal government – in collusion with big tech. Really wrap your brain around that. Then, after the election was over, they just had to tell you how they did it. These criminals simply couldn’t help themselves from bragging about their crimes. This is election fraud, in your face, and they’re doing it again.’ said Michael Oxford

    In a recent development, House Republicans are set to issue a fresh set of subpoenas to Hunter Biden, following his agreement on Friday to participate in a closed-door deposition. The decision was communicated in a letter penned by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan to Abbe Lowell, Biden’s defense counsel, on Sunday. The committees express their intention to issue lawful and enforceable subpoenas for Biden to appear at a later date for deposition.

    The letter acknowledges Biden’s newfound willingness to testify under subpoena and assures that the issuance of subpoenas is not an endorsement of the merit of the assertions made in Biden’s January 12 letter. The committees underline their commitment to expeditiously obtaining Mr. Biden’s testimony as their primary motivation for issuing the subpoenas.

    Victor Davis Hanson was on it all from the start, saying ‘Hunter Biden’s latest ambush stunt was to show up unexpectedly and with an entourage at a House contempt hearing on his prior refusal to obey a congressional subpoena. We were supposed to forget that, unlike the case of Hunter, the Trump children had complied with a Democrat subpoena, while Trump official Steven Bannon, who had not, was tried, convicted and sentenced to a 4-month jail term. So Hunter popped in, with a film crew, his sugar-brother who is apparently paying for his living expenses, legal costs, and liabilities, and his lawyer, as if to dare the committee to interrogate him ad hoc and on Hunter’s terms. When that ridiculous gambit failed, his train got up and stormed out. The leftist media immediately extolled his bold performance-art move of “owning” his opponents.

    But on afterthought, they began to concede that his in-your-face trolling stunt (congressionally subpoenaed witnesses do not establish the time and circumstances under which they are willing to appear before elected officials) only confirmed the erratic and wayward nature of Hunter, even in his post-addiction phase. So what is going on?.  When traipsing through a congressional corridor and asked by a reporter why his father once phoned in to substantiate Hunter’s filial clout, in the midst of the Bidens’ effort to leverage quid pro quo clients, Hunter did not deny that indeed his father had phoned in—a fact that our President Joe Biden has vehemently denied. And why would Hunter threaten to subpoena his father as a witness in his earlier effort to leverage the Biden administration Department of Justice to win a sweet-heart tax-fraud plea deal, one granted by corrupt federal attorneys but overturned by a single honest judge?

    I think if the DOJ wasn’t totally lost in liberal hands, a good prosecutor could get Hunter to flip on his Dad because of his obvious bitterness toward him and for always feeling like a pawn not a son, and if they told him the max he could get, and offered him immunity I believe he would flip.  – Jericho

    And why when under such scrutiny for his drug-addled past, would Hunter or any Biden be anywhere near a stash of coke absently left in a West Wing niche? And why when father Joe and the leftwing media went into contortions to explain away Hunter’s disreputable and illegal transgressions, would he suddenly announce he was a representational ‘artist’, who would hawk terrible paintings, artificially priced at hundreds of thousands of dollars, to high-end customers eager to be granted entry to the Biden White House? And after insisting that to protect the integrity of his father, he would concede to have the buyers’ identities hidden from him, why did Hunter’s art enablers let it be known that he knew almost all the buyers who spent a small, hand-washes-hand fortune for his paint-by-numbers art?

    And why would he brag that he painted by blowing air through a straw in his mouth onto the canvass—in a fashion he knew would be associated by his critics with his prior long cocaine or “blow” addiction? And why when Hunter’s drug and sexual addictions were bleeding into an election-cycle White House, would he contest a paternity suit prompted by a sexual liaison with a stripper, ensuring more public reminders that Hunter was a callous cad—and would then boomerang the new granddaughter into a White House media storm, as Joe Biden initially shamelessly ostracized and ghosted his own kin? Is the obvious answer to Hunter’s strange game of chicken perhaps found in the lurid laptop (that even had the bogeymenRussians wished to fabricate as “disinformation”, they would likely have been unable to persuasively concoct Hunter’s own debauchery).

    In the laptop, remember, Hunter bitterly complained that he was the black sheep bagman, tasked with the dirty work of collecting the ingrate family consortium’s shake-down cash, only then to spread the wealth to the “Big Guy”, in various percentages from “10 percent” to “half” to paying Joe Biden’s utility bills. What do all these shenanigans foreshadow? Two things. One, Hunter is a very bitter guy who somehow believes not just that his legal exposure is not a result of his own excess but was not properly stopped by his dad’s legions in a way that he, the prodigal son, had once taken care of Joe’s needs. And two, Hunter is by no means through, as his latest troll stunt attests. His “Don’t screw with me” exposures—like the paternity suit, the threats to put his dad under oath in a trial, the demands for special DOJ protection, and the art con—are just the preambles to the current long year in which no one can predict what Hunter will do as he faces years of possible incarceration. He may well go to any length—including pulling the Biden temple of corruption down upon them all—to demand as his birthright presidential protection from a long prison stay.’

    Abbe Lowell, Biden’s defense counsel, had earlier conveyed Biden’s agreement to sit for a deposition, contingent on the issuance of new subpoenas. This decision came after House Republicans voted to officially authorize the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, prompting the need for a more formalized process.

    The House GOP’s impeachment inquiry, spearheaded by Comer, Jordan, and Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith, commenced in September without a floor vote formalizing it. Responding to Lowell’s letter, Comer and Jordan reaffirmed their support for holding Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for evading his scheduled deposition on December 13.

    The Republican lawmakers issued a joint statement, stating, “For now, the House of Representatives will move forward with holding Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress until such time that Hunter Biden confirms a date to appear for a private deposition in accordance with his legal obligation.”

    House Majority Leader Steve Scalise announced a forthcoming floor vote to hold Biden in contempt, emphasizing that criminal contempt of Congress is a federal misdemeanor with potential fines up to $100,000 and a maximum prison term of one year. Congress can forward a contempt citation to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for potential prosecution.

    Democrat Rep. Jim Clyburn on investigations into the Biden family corruption: “Dr. Jill made it very clear that she is very concerned about how they’re treating [Hunter]”

    Hunter Biden had notably skipped the December 13 deposition, opting for a press conference on Capitol Hill in defiance of congressional subpoenas. During the conference, he vehemently denied any financial involvement by his father in his business dealings, including his role as a board member of Burisma and partnerships with Chinese private businessmen. Instead of addressing the scheduled deposition, he chose to convey his position to the public.

    In an unexpected turn of events, Hunter Biden appeared at the House Oversight Committee’s markup hearing on contempt, where tensions rose as Republican Representative Nancy Mace directly confronted him. Biden and his counsel briefly attended the hearing before leaving the room as Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene prepared to speak.

    Following these events, Hunter Biden returned to Los Angeles, California, where he pleaded not guilty to nine federal tax charges on Thursday. The legal developments surrounding Hunter Biden continue to unfold, adding complexity to the ongoing political landscape.
