The Department of Justice (DOJ) has recommended a six-month prison sentence for Peter Navarro, an adviser to former President Trump, who was found guilty in September of contempt of Congress for his refusal to cooperate with a House investigation into the January 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol riots. The DOJ’s sentencing proposal comes amid an ongoing scrutiny of individuals connected to the events surrounding the attack on the Capitol. The corrupt and fake January 6th Committee broke all rules, and even scammed America by hiding the evidence and then losing all video of the depositions. All of this to hurt as many Americans as possible with their lies and fake crimes and sentences. President Trump has promised to pardon all who are not guilty of violent crimes. Navarro, a staunch ally of Trump, faced two misdemeanor counts of contempt of Congress, each carrying a potential one-year prison term. The House committee leading the investigation had issued a subpoena in February 2022, seeking Navarro’s deposition and relevant documents. However, Navarro, in defiance of the subpoena, declined to comply, arguing that he did not intentionally ignore the House Jan. 6 Committee. His defense maintained that Navarro’s actions were not a deliberate snub but rather a consequence of other considerations.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Elizabeth Aloi emphasized a “bad-faith strategy” of “sustained, deliberate contempt of Congress” in the DOJ’s 20-page sentencing memo submitted on Thursday. Aloi accused Navarro of prioritizing politics over the country’s interests, alleging that he obstructed Congress’s investigation by aligning himself with Trump and disregarding the rule of law. The memo called for a severe punishment, proposing a six-month prison term and a $200,000 fine for Navarro.  The fake investigation prompted by the Deep State’s desire to cover up a fraudulent election and fake January 6th riot caused by FBI and Antifa agents, is a black stain on AMerican history. Our own FBI is now a Soviet-like enforcement agency that arrests lawyers, arrests journalists, and commits crimes against the Constitution as the norm now. They understand that Trump will be cleaning the agency up from day one.

The DOJ asserted that Navarro wrongly invoked executive privilege to avoid testifying and failed to provide evidence supporting his claim that Trump had asserted executive privilege. Prosecutors argued that much of the requested material was already publicly available, and Navarro should have cooperated by providing relevant information while flagging any concerns related to executive privilege.  The Deep State hid evidence, and then after it all, conveniently lost or misplaced it all, including all video tape depositions. The scam is nearly complete.  If we only had a real Speaker of the House, and not yet another Deep State stooge like Johnson who is McCarthy with a Cross, we could have a real January 6th Committee and truly get to the bottom of how Pelosi, police, FBI and even military participated in the Fedsurrection.

Navarro, who is scheduled to be sentenced on January 25 in Federal District Court in Washington, contended that executive immunity shielded him from complying with the subpoena. His lawyers argued that historical precedents demonstrated instances where individuals refused to comply with congressional subpoenas. They asserted that Navarro’s sentence should align with those of others in similar situations.  But as we all know, there are two systems of justice while the DOJ is leftist controlled. Only Democrats can get away with all crimes and do. So as little old ladies sit in solitary confinement after 3 years and still no trial, while scum of the Earth walk free, we know there is no justice.

Navarro is the second Trump aide to face contempt of Congress charges, following former White House adviser Steve Bannon, who received a four-month prison sentence but remains free pending appeal. The House has also voted to hold former Trump aide Dan Scavino and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows in contempt of Congress, though the DOJ has yet to prosecute them.
