In a groundbreaking victory during Tuesday’s Republican primary in New Hampshire, former President Donald Trump secured his place in history by becoming the sole non-incumbent Republican to triumph in both Iowa and New Hampshire, as per various analyses. This triumph marked a notable milestone, as even former presidential contender Mitt Romney fell short in achieving this dual victory during the 2012 contest, winning in New Hampshire but losing in Iowa by a substantial margin of 24 points.
History has been made, Ladies and Gentlemen! Ever since there has been a public contest for Republicans in Iowa and New Hampshire, no non-incumbent ever managed to win both states. TRUMP HAS DONE JUST THAT TONIGHT!!!- Wyatt
As of Wednesday morning, Trump had amassed approximately 54.5 percent of GOP primary voters in New Hampshire, while his competitor, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, secured around 43.3 percent of the state’s vote. Despite Florida Governor Ron DeSantis withdrawing from the race and endorsing Trump, receiving around 2,100 votes, other former candidates who dropped out collectively garnered a few thousand votes.
Notably, Trump also became the second non-incumbent Republican in modern history to secure a majority of GOP primary votes in the Granite State, following in the footsteps of then-candidate Ronald Reagan in 1980. Trump’s share of the state’s primary vote surpassed Reagan’s, with the former president receiving an impressive 54.5 percent, compared to Reagan’s 50.2 percent.

Great news: Victory for Trump tonight. The victory made the former president the first non-incumbent to win both the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary. No Republican has won both and failed to take the party’s nomination. It seems America wants Trump again. pic.twitter.com/teb11alm7M

While the final margin remained unclear on Wednesday, Trump’s victory fueled calls within the Republican Party for Haley to exit the race and consolidate support around Trump. Despite these calls, Haley, in a speech preceding the primary, affirmed her determination to persist in the race. Her campaign outlined in a memo earlier on Tuesday its commitment to advancing until Super Tuesday on March 5, a pivotal date when Republicans in 15 states and one territory cast their votes in the primary.
The upcoming competitive contest is slated for February 24 in South Carolina, a state where Haley served two terms as governor. Despite her connections to the state, Trump has amassed endorsements from most of South Carolina’s Republican figures, and opinion polls indicate a substantial lead for the former president. President Trump is expected to utterly destroy Haley in her home state, creating an incredible embarrassment for her. DeSantis was smart enough to bow out before Florida, Haley should do the same before SC if she were a real candidate. Unfortunately she is not, as she is Deep State and there for a reason. As X-22 Report pointed out tonight. Her goal now is to wait for the Deep State, Biden’s DOJ to arrest and convict Trump to get him out of the way. It is her only hope in politics now, other than the far chance of her being forced onto the ticket with Trump.
Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, who had refrained from publicly urging candidates to withdraw, joined the calls for Haley to exit the 2024 contest. During a Fox News interview, McDaniel emphasized the need for unity around Trump for the 2024 general election, citing Trump’s historic dual victories in Iowa and New Hampshire. She is another one in the way of progress for Republicans, doing what the Deep State wants usually. So the conflicting advice for Haley might start to be noticed, or it is all fluff, for public consumption as McDaniel is doing all she can to prevent MAGA candidates from winning. She is more in league with her donors, who are generally Deep State connected, which explains how the Republicans are really Democrats in disguise. Almost always doing all they can to hurt the people and this nation.
In response to these calls, New Hampshire Deep State backed Governor Chris Sununu, a surrogate for Haley, pushed back, urging that voters should decide and dismissing the idea of prematurely calling the race after only two states. Sununu emphasized the importance of letting voters across the nation have their say, rejecting the notion of decisions being dictated by political elites in Washington, D.C.

Despite increasing pressure to withdraw, Haley, addressing a crowd on Tuesday evening in Concord, New Hampshire, affirmed her commitment to the presidential bid, highlighting the numerous states yet to hold their primaries. She challenged the prevailing sentiment that she could fare better against Trump in New Hampshire due to the state’s high number of independent voters, asserting that the race was far from over.
Haley reiterated her belief that a Trump nomination would lead to a Republican defeat in the November elections, claiming it to be the “worst-kept secret in politics.” She called on Trump to engage in a debate with her, a challenge he responded to by branding her an “impostor” and asserting that she would be under investigation if she were to win.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump dismissed Haley’s chances of winning and claimed she had “just lost Nevada,” which is set to hold its primary soon. The former president hinted at potential reasons for investigating Haley, stating there were “five reasons” he could cite, though he characterized them as minor issues she was unwilling to address.
