    In an evening message on Truth Social, the front-runner for the Republican nomination said that President Joe Biden was “aiding and abetting a vast invasion of millions of illegal migrants.”

    In a recent development, former President Donald Trump has called on states to deploy National Guard troops to Texas, escalating the ongoing feud with the Biden administration over the use of razor wire fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border. Trump, in a statement on January 25, urged willing states to send their guards to Texas to prevent the entry of illegal immigrants and to remove them back across the border.

    A similar bill, the Restricting Administration Zealots from Obliging Raiders (RAZOR) Act, was introduced in the House by Rep. Mike Collins of Georgia. Both bills reflect a growing frustration with the Biden administration’s immigration policies and the Supreme Court’s recent decision to allow the removal of Texas’ razor wire barriers.
