Maher emphasized the need to understand the reasons behind Trump’s appeal to certain demographics rather than dismissing his supporters outright.

Despite Biden addressing issues like abortion rights during a speech in Virginia, Trump has consistently labeled him as ‘crooked,’ maintaining a robust presence in the public discourse.

    Trump’s recent legal troubles were also discussed by Maher. Following a defamation case brought by E. Jean Carroll, who accused Trump of sexually abusing her in 1996, a court ordered the former president to pay a staggering $83.3 million. Trump, on his part, deemed the amount ‘absolutely ridiculous’ and vowed to appeal.

    Carroll’s case centered on comments made by Trump in 2019, where he denied the allegations and referred to them as ‘fiction.’ The jury found Trump liable for ’emotional harm’ ($7.3 million), ‘reputational damages’ ($11 million), and imposed a massive $65 million in ‘punitive damages.’ The jury concluded that Trump’s statements were driven by ‘hatred, ill will, or spite,’ signaling a significant legal blow to the former president.

BY letting con artists like Schiff spout their BS, and not challenging any of the lies, he confirms that he is a hard leftist who is merely trying to look fair and impartial to gain audience share.
