President Trump will be President soon and will not be paying a dime for this ridiculous case
As Viva Frei said ‘This is Trump’s $83.3 million “defamatory” Truth Social post. $65 million punitive damages. Read it. Read the post in its entirety. If you support this New York verdict, you are the villain in this story.’
And just for some background, if you still haven’t see nit. Ian Miles Cheong posted this… ‘This isn’t some random woman. This is E. Jean Carroll, the woman who sued Trump for defamation and won over $83 million. Does she seem reliable, or sane to you? They used to institutionalize people like this instead of awarding them for their delusions.’ See fast clip below

From the Left, here is ABC questioning Senator Scott on this nonsense. ABC: Trump was ordered to pay $83 million for defaming a woman after he was found liable for sexual abuse. Does that give you any pause? TIM SCOTT: Myself and all the voters that support Donald Trump support a return to normalcy as it relates to what affects their kitchen table. See fast clip below

In a recent development, former President Trump has been instructed to pay a staggering $83.3 million in the civil defamation trial brought by E. Jean Carroll. The lawsuit stems from Carroll’s accusation that Trump sexually assaulted her in the mid-1990s within the confines of a Bergdorf Goodman department store dressing room in Manhattan. Although the alleged incident occurred decades ago, Carroll pursued legal action under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, allowing victims to file civil suits for damages beyond the statute of limitations. We all know the scam that this all is. We’ve seen the fake witch hunt in state after state.
Let’s be clear: This $83.3 million verdict from New York is not justice. E. Jean Carroll cannot even remember what YEAR she was supposedly “raped.” She has absolutely no public reputation to lose and yet a New York court claims she suffered vast reputational harm because Donald Trump says he never committed a crime that he has never been convicted or even charged with. In fact, far from reputational harm, her suit against Trump has made her a folk hero among hardened leftwing partisans. Any credible court would have thrown this case out immediately. But the left is remaking the justice system into a political apparatus worthy of Soviet Russia. And in this new system, lawsuits only exist to redistribute money away from “bad” people. New York’s “justice” system is America’s worst, and it’s not close- Charlie Kirk
Last year, Carroll, expressing her motivation, stated, “I am filing this on behalf of every woman who has ever been harassed, assaulted, silenced, or spoken up only to be shamed, fired, ridiculed, and belittled.”
In a noteworthy move, the presiding judge in the case, Judge Kaplan, explicitly barred Trump and his legal team from asserting that he did not sexually assault Carroll. The judge emphasized to the jury to adhere to the findings of the previous trial. When the judge reiterated that the trial had established Trump “inserted his finger into her vagina,” reports suggest that the former president visibly reacted with a display of disgust, jolting from his seat. Even though Trump never met the woman, this is how the Deep State plays their legal lawfare games. Imagine not being able to say you never met someone, who now sues to rob you.
This is her – A jury in Manhattan just ruled that Donald Trump must pay $83 million to the “rape is sexy” lady. Her accusation also is the exact plot line of a Law and Order SVU episode. See clip below…

Donald Trump’s lawyer Alina Habba goes off in fiery statement after Trump was ordered to pay E. Jean Carroll $83.3 million. Habba quickly shot back at a journalist who asked if she regrets her decision to represent Trump. “No, I’m not having any second thoughts about representing President Trump. It is the proudest thing I could ever do.” “What I’m having second thoughts about is the license that I stand here with.” “Don’t get it twisted. We are seeing a violation of our justice system. You are not allowed to be stripped of every defense that you have.” “I am proud to stand with President Trump because he showed up. He stood up, he took the stand, and he faced this judge. And you know what? I’ll continue to do so with him.” See clip below (4 mins)

On the witness stand, Trump maintained his denial of Carroll’s allegations, citing a desire to defend himself. However, the judge instructed the jury to disregard this assertion. During the closing arguments for Carroll, her attorney argued that Trump exhibited a disregard for the law by blatantly lying. The attorney asserted that Trump “ignored the other jury verdict as if it never happened” and even repeated the alleged defamatory claims at a subsequent press conference.
In a dramatic exit, Trump stood up, buttoned his suit jacket, and abruptly left the courtroom after the closing arguments. Judge Kaplan took note of Trump’s departure, stating, “The record will reflect that Mr. Trump just rose and walked out of the courtroom.”

Tensions escalated before the closing arguments when Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba, expressed frustration after the judge prohibited her from referencing tweets not entered into evidence during the trial. The judge sternly warned her and threatened potential repercussions, leading to a muttered expletive from Habba.
Following less than three hours of deliberation, the jury reached a decision. In an unusual move, the judge advised the jurors to keep their involvement confidential, a directive that underscores the sensitivity and high-profile nature of the case.
In the latest injustice against Trump, Judge Lewis Kaplan ordered Trump pay $83M in damages to Carroll; Something we should know about Judge Kaplan–he has a history of being vindictive and abusive.

Carroll’s attorney also urged the jury to order Trump to pay a minimum of $24 million in damages. The final award of $83 million is considered a significant victory for Carroll’s cause, especially when added to the $5 million she was previously awarded in her 2023 case against Trump.
This is an absolute mockery of the justice system. There’s nothing worse than being falsely accused of being a rapist. The dress story proves that the entire thing was fabricated. This could potentially open the floodgates for others to claim victimhood for incidents they believe occurred but cannot recall- Sarah
Unsurprisingly, Trump expressed his vehement disagreement with the verdict on his social media platform, TruthSocial, deeming it “absolutely ridiculous.” He attributed the legal outcome to what he characterized as a “Biden Directed Witch Hunt” focused on him and the Republican Party. Trump has vowed to appeal the decision, setting the stage for continued legal battles surrounding these serious allegations.
Travis sums up what we are all thinking: ‘In one of the most disgusting abuses of power I’ve ever witnessed, a New York jury is demanding Donald Trump pay E Jean Carroll $83 million for defamation. How did he defame her? She made claims of assault against him and he denied it calling her a “whack job.” Is that where were at now? Everyone who is accused and denies it can be sued? The worst part is that this entire trial is only possible because democrats changed New York law so she could sue. This can not stand. This is justice. This is not the American way. E Jean Carroll and her co conspirators like George Conway should be held accountable for this political attack on the next President of the United States. How much longer will we allow this to continue?’
Victor Davis Hanson says it best…
Or put in a more logical way, Victor Davis Hanson tackles this nonsense: ‘83 million? Donald Trump in furor stormed out of a New York courtroom for a while, in the defamation suit brought by author and dating/boyfriend/sex-advice columnist E. Jean Carroll. It was just settled against Trump for $83.3 million! The Carroll suit was largely subsidized by Reid Hoffman the billionaire capitalist, and mega-donor to the Democratic Party and leftwing causes. The subtext of Trump’s rage, aside from the outrageous monetary size of the defamation ruling, is that he was facing—and angered—a leftwing claimant, a quite hostile leftwing judge, and a leftwing New York jury. The civil suit serves as a mere preview of four additional leftwing criminal prosecutions, leftwing judges, and leftwing juries to come—all on charges that would never had been filed if Trump either had not run for president or been a liberal progressive. Yet here we are. The E. Jean Carroll case is the most baffling of all five. She, the alleged victim, did not remember even the year in which the purported sexual assault took place, nearly three decades ago. Observers have pointed out dozens of inconsistencies in her story.
It was never clear what were the preliminaries that supposedly (Trump denies meeting her) led both, allegedly, willingly to retreat together to a department store dressing room, where during normal business hours the alleged violence took place. Moreover, the sexual assault complaint came forward decades post facto—and only after Trump was running for and then president. Carroll eventually sued him for battery, but well after the statute of limitations had expired and thus the case seemed defunct. Her claims of defamation injuries arise from being fired from her advice column job at ELLE magazine. She claimed that Trump’s sharp denials and ad hominem retorts led to her career ruin. But the loss for anyone of a column at 76 does not seem such a rare occurrence, and the absence of a salaried job in one’s late seventies for four years does not seem to equate to a $83 million hit.
And note the allegation that her dispute with Trump led to her firing was strongly denied by the very magazine that cut her loose. But then another strange thing happened. In 2022, a new law (“The Adult Survivors Act”) was passed in the New York legislature. It also post facto established a twelve-month window (beginning six months from the signing of bill) that permitted survivors of long ago alleged sexual assaults suddenly to sue the accused long-ago perpetrator—regardless of the previous statute of limitations. That unexpected opening suddenly gave Carroll’s prior unsuccessful efforts a rebirth. And she quickly refiled with the help of arch-Trump hating billionaire Hoffman. Yet the bill may have been introduced with Trump particularly in mind—given the legislator who introduced it, Brad Hoylman-Siga, was known as another Trump antagonist. More interestingly, he had earlier introduced and had passed another Trump-targeted bill. That “TRUST” act had empowered particular federal Congressional committees to have access to the New York State once sealed tax returns of high-ranking government officials—such as Trump. That bill’s generally agreed subtext was a green light for anti-Trump members of Congress to obtain legal access to Donald J. Trump’s tax returns. So there is an eerie feeling that the New York legislature may have abruptly passed legislation that was aimed at the past conduct of Donald Trump but only after he entered the political arena.

While these are not quite bills of attainder, there is something unsettling if they are post facto laws aimed at targeting the most famous and controversial man in America and the leading candidate for the presidency. In essence they were targeted statutes designed to make Trump’s prior legally unactionable behavior suddenly quite legally actionable. Trump will be subject to such special treatment all summer and fall. Prosecutors Bragg, James, Smith, and Willis will synchronize their court business for maximum effect. Trump again will face leftwing prosecutors, judges, and juries on charges that are politically driven, involving alleged behavior that is either usually not criminalized or not to the same degree as Trump’s case.
(Do we remember the nearly $375,000 federal fine belatedly leveled at an exempt Obama but only five years after his 2008 illegal garnering of, and not reporting, foreign campaign contributions?) The stakes are higher each day as Trump closes in on the nomination and thus becomes the hope of half the country to end the Biden madness. Somehow Trump will have to stay calm, give no opening to his legion of hostile prosecutors, while conducting a nonstop campaign against Biden (and for a while Hayley), and while fighting to keep his name on various state ballots.
So what we are witnessing is not even the extralegal efforts of Steele/Fusion GPS, Perkins Coie/DNC/Hillary Clinton in 2016, or the 2020 “Russian disinformation” ruse/change the voting laws/infuse half a billion dollars to absorb the work of the registrar machinations against Trump. We are way beyond all that. The legal system itself, hand-in-glove with leftwing politicos (compare campaign boasts of James and Willis, or prosecutorial visits to the January 6 committee and the White House) is turning the process of balloting and elections into an embarrassing farce. Still, Trump will have to soldier on. He must stay controlled amid the tsunamis, not play into the hands of his accusers, and remember that he may soon be the only eleventh-hour hope to stop this mockery of American law, customs and traditions. – Victor Davis Hanson
Ugh: “Carroll has accused multiple men of sexually assaulting or raping her throughout her life, including a babysitter’s boyfriend, a dentist, a camp counselor, an unnamed college date, an unnamed boss, and CBS chief executive Les Moonves.” – National Pulse
Major Points Discussed:
- Former President Trump ordered to pay $83.3 million in E. Jean Carroll’s civil defamation trial.
- Carroll accused Trump of sexual assault in the mid-1990s, using New York’s Adult Survivors Act to surpass the statute of limitations.
- The presiding judge, Kaplan, prohibited Trump from denying the assault, emphasizing adherence to the earlier trial’s verdict.
- Trump displayed visible discomfort when the judge mentioned specific details of the alleged incident during the trial.
- The jury reached a decision in less than three hours, awarding Carroll a substantial victory, totaling $83 million, in addition to a previous $5 million awarded in 2023. Trump has vowed to appeal the decision.
