Rep Andy Biggs just says it ‘Last night, the House passed a tax bill that expands welfare benefits with virtually no limits, weakens welfare work requirements, and provides tax benefits to illegal aliens, all under the guise of “tax relief.” We needed much more opposition—especially from Republicans.’
This is all part of the plan to bankrupt the United States by guaranteeing $2200 per month to each illegal, forever. The cost this year alone is estimated at over 451 billion dollars according to Congress. We cannot pay it. We do not have the money. We can only print more money, destroying the dollar and helping to collapse the nation faster, so the Marxist Great Reset can be achieved within a couple of years. In other words, the Dmeocrats and Republicans who voted for this were either scamming or were scammed, and are all complicit in bringing about a revolution, one way or another. So basically, illegals and the wealthy get it all.
Tax Relief for American Family and Workers Act, is another Orwellian piece of legislation which will only benefit the top 1%. If the bill is enacted, households in the lowest income quintile (incomes up to $29,800) would see gains in after-tax income averaging 0.3 percent ($60) in 2023. Meanwhile, the top 1 percent (those with annual income above $980,000) would get an average after-tax income boost of 0.5 percent ($9,500) in 2023. This is retroactive deductions and other incentives for the Fortune 500 companies like Meta. This is another example of how Congress lies to American people and hopes they are too dumb to understand. No wonder they give Trump such a hard time when he tried to pass actual tax cuts which put an actual 4000 extra dollars into the pockets of middle-class families in America. So basically the rich make out the most, and illegals. Leaving the middle class out in the cold as usual.
Peter St Onge explains it easily in a fast clip. Republicans are trying to sneak in a $155 billion bill that combines welfare for illegals with crony corporate tax cuts. All disguised as “tax relief for families” Dems, of course, are only too happy to play along and fleece the voters. Welcome to America’s ruling coalition: illegal immigrants and corporate lobbyists. Two parties, united…

The House of Representatives achieved a significant milestone on January 31 by approving a comprehensive bill aimed at delivering tax relief to both families with children and small businesses. That’s the official line. When in reality they scammed the vote and Speaker Johnson again betraying America to get it passed. This crucial legislative move, known as the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024, reflects a supposedly bipartisan effort to address economic challenges and foster growth. The 83-page measure, garnering a decisive 357-70 vote, demonstrates strong support with 169 Republicans and 188 Democrats voting in favor, surpassing the necessary two-thirds majority. ‘Over 90% of the bill’s ‘family benefits’ will be cash welfare payments to families who pay NO federal income taxes. This is yet another instance of welfare benefits being disguised as ‘tax relief,’ said Rep Scott Perry
Doesn’t it give my tax money to people who never paid taxes? Like illegal immigrants?- Yvonne Rogers
Crafted through negotiations led by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-Mo.), the bill stands as a testament to cross-party collaboration. Its primary focus is to provide tax relief, amounting to $78 billion, for families with children and small businesses. One noteworthy provision allows families to deduct $1,800 per child from their taxes for the 2023 tax year, with an incremental increase of $100 per year until the 2025 tax year. This refundable credit is designed to benefit low-income families, with an estimated 16 million children expected to experience improved financial conditions. People who don’t pay any taxes, to get income benefits tax-free. Makes sense in Marxist land. Illegals making $2200 per month, as Biden designed (or his handlers actually as he is clueless).
Congress is trying to sneak in a bill which would give illegals hundreds of millions of our tax dollars in welfare benefits. They’re disguising it as “tax relief”
Senator Wyden emphasized the positive impact on families, stating, “Sixteen million kids from low-income families will be better off as a result of this plan.” Chairman Smith echoed this sentiment, highlighting the bill’s broader benefits, including enhanced tax relief, support for Main Street businesses, increased competitiveness with China, and job creation.
EJ Antoni says ‘“As if it came right from Orwell’s Ministry of Truth, 91.5% of the money claimed as tax relief for workers and families will instead go to expanding welfare, primarily for those who are barely working, if at all…” – He linked to a Washington Times article on the news
Wall Street Silver said, ‘Republicans in Congress are collaborating with Dems to sneak in a bill that would hand $155 billion to illegal immigrants and corporate lobbyists. All under the Orwellian name “tax relief for families.” This is a Trojan horse. This is a misnamed bill they claim is tax relief. It is giving millions of illegal aliens welfare benefits. What can be done? Contact your representative and senator to let them know you’re watching, and vote for anti-establishment candidates — of either party — in your primaries.’
“It should not be called a tax package. This thing should be called a patronage package, which means you just dole out cash to whoever you need for political reasons.” Liberty University Vice Provost for Engagement @DaveBratVA7th says the tax relief bill is just a ruse for expanding the size of the government and helping big companies like Meta. – See clip below

Despite the overall bipartisan support, some dissenting voices expressed concerns, particularly regarding the expansion of the child tax credit. House Freedom Caucus Chairman Bob Good criticized the bill, stating that it “massively grows the welfare state.” Representative Suzan DelBene raised concerns about the child tax credit expansion, asserting that it would leave behind millions of vulnerable children and families.
Congress is trying to pull a fast one with a trojan horse bill that has nothing to do with the name. The title of the legislation claims it is tax relief, but it is really just $155 billion for illegal aliens to get welfare benefits and also corporate giveaways to the clients of lobbyists. – Ian Miles Cheong
In contrast, Representative Ron Estes defended the bill, emphasizing its role in providing relief to families and small businesses grappling with the high costs of goods and services and burdensome regulations. Representative Danny Davis, while acknowledging the bill’s limitations, voiced his support, stating, “A half a loaf is better than none, but this isn’t even a half a loaf. But I’m going to vote for it because our families and businesses need help.”
The bill extends its reach beyond individual and family tax relief. Notably, it introduces changes in tax deductions for those involved in research and development conducted outside the United States, aiming to incentivize innovation and enhance economic competitiveness, particularly against China.
The $78 billion tax package called the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024 would increase the child tax credit relief and tax benefits for Taiwan. If passed, the changes would be in effect through 2025 when previous Republican tax cuts expire. pic.twitter.com/chP3y3Bzyl

Moreover, the bill addresses immediate concerns, such as relief for businesses investing in the United States and Taiwan, tax relief for areas impacted by natural disasters, and a state housing credit for low-income families. Additionally, it phases out a COVID-era tax credit that has reportedly cost taxpayers billions in fraudulent claims.
While the bill encountered obstacles related to the State and Local Tax deduction (SALT), capped at $10,000, the House ultimately overcame these challenges. Republicans from New York sought to increase the deduction, arguing against the cap’s impact on red states subsidizing high-tax blue states. The bill, nonetheless, “locks in over $600 billion in proven pro-growth, pro-America tax policies,” according to Chairman Smith.
Criticism also surfaced from conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation, labeling the bill as a departure from successful pro-family welfare reform principles. Despite this, the foundation acknowledged the positive aspects of the Taiwan-U.S. collaboration, describing it as “beneficial” and “forward-looking.”
"U.S. @RepFeenstra, R-Iowa, a member of @WaysandMeansGOP, argued the bill helped families in his rural Iowa district while keeping the U.S. competitive against China."

On a contrasting note, the Food Research & Action Center praised the bill for aiding families struggling to make ends meet, particularly with enhanced tax credits during the upcoming tax season. It is a Leftist oriented organization so of course anything that gives money to people who did not earn it, is fantastic to them.
The bill now awaits consideration in the Senate, with expectations of passage and subsequent approval by President Joe Biden. The legislation’s multifaceted approach seeks to address various economic challenges, providing relief and support to diverse segments of the population. It is designed to help bankrupt the United States, and the Democrats are winning. They are destroying the nation at record speed, and with the Republicans along for the ride, AMerica stands little chance at staying afloat very soon. All in an effort to bring about ‘change’ as in the Great Marxist Reset. Remember that folks.
